((Editing my money))
As they arraived at the building Nathan paid the driver 24 dollars, he had dropped them off at the west entrance. He said his thanks to the driver and followed Naida inside. She showed her ID to the guards to allow them access. Naida had very little restrictions to the building because she was one of Rycroft's enforcers, while Nathan was assigned as a "scientist" to help finish his Grandfather's research. He was a bit more restricted with the areas he had access to. It was a complicated story, but after a small incident several years ago, scientist didn't have as much freedom as they used to. To save on time when passing through the checkpoints, they learned to just use Naida's ID to bypass most of it.
When Naida said she would consider making the transfer he gave her a small smirk and nodded his head. He already knew she wasn't going to do that. "Yeah sure. And dinner at Luna sounds good. It sure beats your home cooking," he teased while his grin began growing bigger. "Alright kid, I gotta head down to the labs. I'll see you later. If I'm late don't wait up for me, go on and get a table and I'll find you there." He gave her a pat on her shoulder as a 'goodbye' and headed for the elevator that would take him down to the labs...

Naida nodded her head. "Ha ha, so funny. My cooking isn't all that bad. But whatever, I'll get the table and wait for you." They said their silent goodbye and she turned to make her way to the armory. Before she could take a step further she saw the secretary Jeannette get off the elevator, the same one Nathan was about to take down. The two passed each other without speaking, and Nathan pressed the button to head down while Jeannette waved a hand to Naida to get her to stay where she was.
"Hey, kid. Rycroft is interviewing a new person. You know the drill. Stay where you are and I'll send them down to you." She pointed a finger as she passed Naida, "Stay put." Jeannette handed Naida her tablet containing the details, then went back to her secretary desk and sat down to finish reading her magazine.
Naida let off a small groan while tilting her head back and looking at the ceiling. "Fine. I'll stay here..." She walked over to the elevator and set her brief case down by her leg. She leaned her back up against the wall, crossing one leg over the other. She turned the tablet on and began to read over the details of what she was required to do while she waited for the person to come down.

"Sure, I'll get the Stimpack for you right away.... That will be $25 for one and $50 for two, please."
The Clerk turned around and reached up on the wall to collect the items. Taking the Stimpacks down the clerk placed them on the counter for him before picking upthe ID card and sliding it through the scanner. She put his ID card down on the counter for him to take, careful not to put her hands too close to his.
"That discount?" Bernard reminded taping his fingers upon the counter. She simply put the ID card down on the counter careful not to put her hands too close to his.
"I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to do that You will have to ask Miss Glory about that. I have to go now..."
"Thank you for shopping here."She added hastily giving Glory a nervous glance before quickly walking out of the booth and disappearing through the door that was behind it.
((Subtracting $50 from bag, and adding VBS items.))
Bernard quickly gathered his ID card and the two VBS Stimpacks from the store counter and shoved them into his bag.Turning towards Glory he shrugged throwing his hands up innocently.
"What can I say? I seem to have that sort of effect on people."

Glory squinted her eyes as the creature bought the items. This wasn't going to go well for him... She nodded her head in greeting when he came over. Her voice was low and serious. "Welcome back. Perhaps it would have gone more smoothly if you had asked nicely..." Glory shook her head, dismissing the event and moving on.
"Alright, I see you have the Stimpacks with you, good job. For now just hold on to the items, we'll teach you how to use them in a little while. But first your next task awaits you. You will be learning how to use skills and abilities. Your task would have been to find the guard in the room and subdue him, but you already found him earlier.
"Since you pretty much know how to use your skills, we're going to move you on to your combat training." She looked to the ground and put a hand to her ear. "Yes sir... Wha- Hmm... If that is what you want. Very well." She now looked back up to Bernard. "We are skipping the observe and subdue test completely. We are to move on to combat training in the next room... If you would please come this way, I will take you to your final test."
She waved a hand and led him to a stairway, she didn't want to take the elevator and stand next to him. Things could go bad in the small space. They went down a few floors where she opened the door and had him step inside. The next room was a laboratory. There was a large glass box in the center of the room. Cables and wires were connected to the glass box along with cameras and strange circular disks that resembled satellites connected to the inside. Scientist stood about the room, most near computers and with notepads in their hands, all staring at Bernard as he stepped in the room. There was another strange machine in the room that was pulsing and vibrating with energy. There was a monitor on the machine that resembled one that measured seismic waves, but at the moment all of the lines were flat and at the bottom of the monitor.
Glory walked into the center of the room, next to the glass box. "Don't worry, this is normal. We will just have a small sparing match, and then you will be free to go. Everyone who takes this test trains in this room." Glory lied about the last part, this was a special room used for observing the more 'special' sensitives. Bernard fit that profile...
"We will be fighting inside of that box, everything we do will be monitored and stored for... research. I will be your opponent in this fight. If you have any questions you may ask them now, if not you can have the first attack." Glory walked into the glass box and left the door open for him. As soon as she was in the box, four armed guards stepped around from the other side of the glass and stood at each corner of the box. They wanted to make sure that Bernard didn't try to escape. The door behind him locked shut with a large metal bolt, trapping him in the room. The situation was clear, Bernard would cooperate, or they would put him down...
"Those routes will do me perfectly, yes. Is there a particular order you'd like me to stop them in? And will I get backup or am I flying solo for this?" Not in the contract, not in the contract... There was no contract as far as I recall. Aileana was hoping for a team, the more experienced going with her the better, but she could always hop happily to her mother and tell her the good news: she'd just been told to kill every bad guy in the bloody city!
"Oh, going out for some field work isn't forceful on me at all!" Aileana put on her most charismatic smile, which was sadly, a little cheesy at best. I wonder what work policies say about running around hopped up on taurine, caffeine, sugar and all those delicious goodies.
He explained the reason for the explanations, the revelation of the cloning system to the public and whatnot; before she could evaluate the morality of it all, she found herself nodding along, peering at his desk, quite zoned out. A secret mission, and they wanted HER for it. Aileana's mouth opened just a little bit, just enough for that awed gasp to roll off her tongue. "My-My apologies, sir! It's just all so exciting. I'll be waiting for further information on the matter; in the meantime, I'll keep myself fighting fit to serve then!" He was no longer Mr. Rycroft, he was now a space captain sending her loyal cadet out to save a stranded troop from the clutches of an evil alien race.
"Further doubts? Uh, well I'd like to meet my team if I'll have one. Otherwise, I'll just take the marks on my map and be well on my way. Oh, and that route-- are there particular priorities amonst the routes?"

((Lol, her imagination is awesome. ))
Rycroft stared at her with a dull look on his face as she began to ask questions. He found himself getting bored with her chatter. He walked back to his chair and sat down. She had all the information she needed, now she just had to get it done. "Yes, miss Roseberry, you will have a team that will work with you. But at the moment the others are... occupied. There won't be many of you for awhile... One moment please..." His Bluetooth headset made feint beeping sounds, he pressed a finger to his ear to stop them. "What is it? Hmm... Very well. Get it done. Is Baris in?" He paused for a good thirty seconds. "Good. Keep her there. And tell her not to be late again." He now focused back on Aileana.
"Something has come up. My operative is now waiting for you in the main hall, if you have any questions ask her about it. She will help you with anything you need. As for what needs to be done about these shipping routes, that is for you and your team members to figure out. It doesn't matter about the details, just resolve the problems. If you run into any red tape I will pay to remove it. I'm paying you to see results, I don't care HOW you get them. My operative's name is Naida Baris, if she hasn't wandered away from her current location she should be near the elevator door. The guard outside of my office will guide you back the way you came in. I advise you not to wander into restricted areas. As I said before, we have had terrorist activity and with the recent murders of people being killed, everyone is on high alert. They will shoot to kill if you do not have proper access to that area." He gave her a sleight nod of his head. "I believe we are done here."
He leaned back in his chair and locked his fingers back together. "And Miss Roseberry, the next time you set foot in any of my buildings that I own, I expect you to dress appropriately. You will not be warned again. You may see yourself out of my office..." He gave her a leveled stare to make sure that she understood what he meant.

His speech began to grow cutthroat, though it took her a good twenty seconds to realize it, quoting several lines from The book of People before bowing her head, suddenly ashamed. At least being accompanied could bring her solace. Aileana blushed a faint pink this time, with nerves just piling in her.
Mr. Rycroft was at least educated enough when pausing himself to answer his headset. There was somebody waiting for her down the elevator! Eyes back on the mission at hand, Aileana speculated: perhaps a gruff, large grunt for her to boss around, or maybe a caring, motherly figure she'd find no love for until they were in the very thick of things. Stereotypes danced and bounced off her mind, but she just didn't have the time to let her imagination take off right now.
"Right."
She considered what it could be translated to, Mr. Rycroft not caring about how they 'got results'. This was colder than she'd thought in the beginning. It was simply a matter of obtaining results, and at this point she'd have bet money she was expendable to them. Never mind being directly called into the man's office, that tone spoke of nothing good. Nothing, nothing good. Golly... I REALLY wanna play some Fight Time now. I'm making a custom character with HIS face on it, and I'll play without rests in between bouts... That'll teach him.
"Okay, thank-you sir. Have a nice day." Chapter VII: 'Kissing ass'. It's not quite as gross as it sounds, but it's definitely more degrading. THEN her boss had the cheek to ask her to dress properly in a polite, though somewhat menacing manner. Oh, the humanity of it all. I'm making that character AND pitting us in cage matches. On EASY mode. Take that.
"Yes, of course. I'll be on my way now." With an opening of the doors, a short walk with a guard and a push of a button, she was on her way down a long elevator trip, with an annoyed expression, still she didn't dare blurt out anything-- there could be cameras somewhere.

"You... You did good champ. That title's yours, kid."
"Totally mine. I'm gonna give him hell for this next match. I'm back in the game."
"Can't hear you."
"Back in the GAME!"
The pep talk had Aileana acting out an enthusiastic coach and a downed wrestler, speaking to him from inside the canvas. Jeannette HAD told her he was a tough guy, and that virtually everything annoyed him. That wasn't her fault... Right? It took a few questions like that one to get her to smile, then chuckle, soon enough a loud laugh and a sing-song voice followed.
"He's just jea-lous, I'm so pre-tty, so pre-tty in my blue sli-ppers, blue, blue, blue sli-ppers."
-DING-
The elevator opened, and out came a renewed Aileana. Containing her case of the giggles and donning cyan pajama bottoms and matching slippers proudly. An ear to ear grin painted her visage, and she walked over to Jeannette as soon as she recognized her. "Hey there, I'm back! Sorry to bother you... Is Naida Baris here? Mr. Rycroft told me she'd be down here."
-GRRRRR...- A subtle rumbling came from Aileana's stomach. She did her best to stare at the white walls, switching between each one every few seconds.
((Not sure if you read my last one, but I made a few edits...))
Jeannette didn't look up from her magazine when Aileana questioned her, she just pointed a finger at Naida who was still standing by the elevator, and kept on chewing her bubble gum and flipping pages. Naida hadn't even seen the girl get off, she was still holding the computer tablet and browsing through the net, talking to her friends on social networking sites. Yeah, the people at Hydra worked hard... When she saw Jeannette point her finger at her, she picked her briefcase back up and walked over to Aileana.
"Ah, the new recruit arrives! I take it the rest of training went well? My name is Naida Baris, nice to meet you." She held her hand out for her to shake it, but she didn't expect her to. Hydra people weren't very nice. But who knows maybe this one was different.
"I think we'll get along quite well for when we start working together. I've been waiting for some new backup to come my way. I haven't been able to continue my mission until I got a new operative working with me, they thought it would be too dangerous." She rolled her eyes. Naida then lifted the tablet up and waved it next to her own head. "So looks like we met a bit sooner then I thought we would. The tablet here has updated me on everything I needed to know, but you kind of caught me in the middle of reading. Wanna grab some lunch before starting work and comparing notes?" She gave her a big smile and stared at her for a long moment, she kept smiling but her face also started turning into a frown. She looked her up and down and then chuckled. "Are you in your pajamas...?"
"Oh yeah, sure... Thanks." She looked from afar, back to the elevator door, to find a young woman on a computer tablet, very enthralled. She might be fragging noobs... Best not to interrupt. With that, Aileana opted to wait, eying the woman: she was pretty and maybe just a little older than her.
The woman went to Aileana, and greeted her. Finally, somebody that went along with the book! "I'm Aileana Roseberry, it's really nice to meet you too." Her hand protruded in her direction. It was a physical cue, according to the book... She took the hand with her own right and shook up and down firmly, being careful not to exaggerate the motion. You can do this, now. With that, she got closer to her and kissed her cheek: she seemed like a very nice person!
"Work together, huh? I'm sure we'll get along good." Aileana smiled, and began to wander off mentally... A pair of noble knights setting out to slay a dragon to save a prince... Two princes. Both equally handsome. Maybe hers a little more. "The training was kinda fun, I guess. I-Uh..."
-GRRRRRR-
"Lunch sounds awesome right about now." Then her eyes were noticed, they were running her up and down, but instead of Mr. Rycroft's cutthroat response, she chuckled! That was a way different response. The book of people HAD warned her about personality archetypes in an eneagram, but maybe she'd skipped that part. "These? No, only the pants and the slippers," she shook her feet to let her contemplate them. "I wouldn't sleep in this shirt. I think."
