Last Defense Roll = 9 + 4 (werepig sp x2) =13 Damage (Critical Hit) 30 + 20 (crit)-13= 37
Done like dinner!
I don't like this complicated X2 SP system
That's why we run the tests. We did learn a lot from the exercise. "Mainly you get wrapped up in the math and forget to multiply your bonuses on numerous occasions." (did I say that out loud??) ooops Nope, it was in italics I'm safe. Safe that is unless you have ESP. Wait.....that's me!

I'm up for another experiment. I think I may use Kenny. I want an idea of what she could turn out to become.
I forgot to mention, Grassroots judjements should be released tomorrow. I will know by Monday on how much availability I will be able to afford although the battle simulations are pretty straight forward so I don't see a huge problem in continuing.

The key is to use strategy and team work to turn the tide of battle in your favor. If you use items or switch equipment during combat, then it will count as your attacking turn.
You don't have to roll for using items. Smoke bangs are instant effect items, the only way to counter it is to buy goggles.)) NPC thug STATS: Rank: 1 HP: 20 Weapon: Rycroft special (+1 ATK, +2 DEF) Clip: 6 shots -1
Blind shot: 24-20 (flash bang)+1 (weapon)=5.

((Dodge Incoming Roll =1: 22/2: 28/3: 26))= Success
I rolled to avoid as there is still the chance of critical Failure. Wasted a bunch of good rolls.
Marksman Roll = 76 Attack roll NPC Thug = 3 +20(marksman) +6 (stealth suit) +10 lvl +2 (weapon)= 41 (-5 rubber bullets???))=36 Stealth Roll =83 +13(suit) - 5 (muffled shot)*=91 *it states I can't attack or loose stealth but SD-99 allows for stealth attacks.
EDIT: I forgot the modifiers for the rubber bullets. I was thinking if it gets a +5 to subdue rolls it should get a -5 to actual physical damage lacking the penetration power or perhaps armour should get 2x its respective bonus.

NPC thug STATS:DEAD Rank: 1 HP: 20 Weapon: Rycroft special (+1 ATK, +2 DEF) Clip: 5 shots
Defense roll: 17-20 (flash bang)+2 (weapon)=0. Full damage! 36=DEATH.
((I'll work on fixing the rubber bullet stats to balance that out. If we are using D30 I may have to change a lot of the stats anyways. As for the weapon, yeah it is a paradox. You lose the stealth when you attack, but then you hide again because it gives it to you. It would take a search roll or observation check to spot you out. Perhaps it should give you a -10 to stealth rolls though since you are firing the weapon? Hmm. Something for me to think about...))
