The sensitive stumbled back and hit the car he had crushed earlier with his psychic powers. He slipped on something wet and began to fall. Just then he heard two loud reports fire from the gun, and then everything went white. The first bullet hit him in the head. He saw the sky for a split second as he began to fall back. The second bullet hit the gasoline that was still spraying out from the crushed car. It sparked.
The sky turned a bright orange as the car exploded and sent debris flying everywhere. The windows of the building closest to the car shattered. And the sensitive's body was blown into a thousand pieces. Burnt and bloody bits rained from the sky as the car roared with flames... ((Battle ended...))

((*nod, nod* I like this a whole lot better. Sensitives are still strong, but now humans have a chance... This ends the test. Let's wrap this up.))
Bennett didn't think the second bullet would hit the fuel tank and blow the man up. In fact, it was the last thing on his mind. He was just trying to survive. As if his entire life was now going to be in slow motion, he saw everything unfold... One... Moment... At... A... Time... The sensitive stumbled back... His back hit the car and he slightly rebounded from the impact... His foot lost traction as it hit the oil, slipping out from under him... His other foot turned in, collapsing from all of his weight now bent in a odd angle all balancing on his one leg... He started to fall.... The gun flashed... The gun roared... The bullet hit the man in the head... Red splashed up... Spark... Flash... Boom...
Bennett's eyes went wide as he saw this happen and unfold before him. He realized where it was going almost a second too late. He quickly put his arm up to shield his face. He turned around and dove to the ground as the car exploded behind him. His hands landed on the top of his head to shield it from the raining bits of car and guts. After the noise faded he chanced a look behind him. Nothing remained of the man except two pairs of burnt shoes. Extra crispy...
The rest of the squad now pulled up. They quickly got out, guns at the ready and aimed at Bennett. "Freeze!" "Put your hands up!" "Drop the weapon!" "He said drop it!"
Bennett stood to his feet, leaving the gun on the ground. "Calm down boys. I'm detective Jack Bennett... I got ID..." One of the guards jerked his head to his partner. "Slowly. Show us. Don't try anything funny..." Bennett nodded his head and slowly reached into his jacket. He showed them his ID, the small badge on it to let everyone know he was an officer of the OPD. At the same time all the men relaxed and lowered their guns. "Sorry, sir. Can't be too careful now days." "Don't worry about it. I need to see a doctor..." "My Go- What happen to your face?" For the first time he noticed all of the carnage. The blown up car... the smoking remains of the body- which was little more then blood and smoking bits at this point. And all of the bullet holes from the missed shots.
"What happen to my face? The guy gave me a kiss, that's what." He checked the cylinder of his gun to see how many bullets were left and then flicked it back closed again. Putting his gun away in his holster. He limped over to the officers and they helped him stand and walk over to the squad car. They open the back door for him and let him sit down. They later called in a ambulance to take him to Hydra corp to get healed up. Even after spending a few hours in the regeneration tanks he still had a lot of cuts and bruises on his body, especially one nasty one running across his nose where he had fallen on his face after the sensitive had dropped him. One of his coworkers had driven him home to his apartment building. He muttered his thanks and got out of the car. He knew he would have to go talk to Murphy about this when the whole thing ended up on the news. Hell, the man was going to have his hide for this one.
He shoved the door open and stepped into the apartment building. A young girl with eyebrow piercings and a small nose piercing was slightly ahead of him. She had one of those new young people hair styles where it was short but spiky in the back. He hated people like that... She looked tired but she still said a soft hello and smiled at him. He grunted and muttered back "Ah,gocramyourfaceinapothole..." The girl made a funny face but kept walking. "Darn straight, you delinquent..." He took a cigarette out from his pocket and stuck it in his mouth. "I should really quit these things..." He pressed the elevator button and lit his cigarette with his lighter as he waited. As soon as the elevator hit the first floor he stepped on and road it up to his floor. He didn't waste time changing clothes, eating a meal, or checking his messages. He just kicked his shoes off and collapsed into bed. He hurt like there was no tomorrow...

NOTE: No matter what job you choose all Sensitives will start here.
Introduction: Welcome to the Former Glory Hydra tutorial. Here you will learn everything you need to know about the role play. You will start off by role playing out your character finding their teacher, walking over to her and talking to her. You will have your character introduce them self, and then let your teacher know that you are ready to start your training. If you have any questions about anything, don't be afraid to ask your teacher about it to get a better understanding. Although you are role playing in character, you will be learning a lot of things out of character. Sometimes NPCs or other players will have a long wall of text, instead of having your character stand silent through the whole thing, post as if they had had a back and forth conversation, and that they had responded to what the other person was saying all along. -------------------------------------------------
Hydra corp is mostly an all white building, like a hospital or a lab. It is very clean and smells like disinfectant. There are a few plain black leather chairs, dark wood or glass coffee tables, and a few clusters of plants decorating the room. The walls are completely bare with no art or marks on them, and the floor matches it with it's plain white tile floors. The farther you walk into the building, the plainer it gets. A few other new students are in the room, talking to one another or with their teachers. Others were more advanced students that were lounging around and watching the new students. Not too far away you spot Glory standing by the wall, waiting for you to start your training. Her arms are crossed and her face a mask- literally, showing no emotion or facial expressions. She notices you standing there and turns her attention to you, but doesn't make any motions to come towards you.

Through stumbling and asking questions, Aileana managed to wander all the way to the main lobby. She took a moment to absorb the white and plainness of it all. Drab, boring, she couldn't wait to be over with the job, settled in an apartment, and gaming the night off. I hadn't paid attention to this place... I don't think I can even retrace my steps to Mustache Man's place. Who am I looking for, Rycroft? Yes, Mr. Rycroft...
Nervous, her thumbs began to twiddle once more, an anxious look scanning the entirety of the place: comfortable couches, inquisitive doors, people walking by... And what seemed to be a help desk. Score! Help for noobs! Not that I'm one, no... I've just been misplaced. Yes.
Excited, Aileana got to the desk, the blond woman enticed to fiddle with her. Somewhat anxious, she approached, tapping the desk once gently. "Hi there. Uh... Mustache Man told me to talk to Mr. Rycroft-- that he had a job for me? Problem is, I can't find his office: could you help me please?"

((This is officially the first post in the RP. The day and night system has now started... Current map location: D-19: Hydra corp))
The woman stopped twirling her hair around her finger and looked up. She had been reading a fashion magazine and chewing bubble gum. Despite her appearance, she was in fact a trained scientist. A Hydra operative to be exact. "Hmm... yeah. You're that new kid. My name is Jeannette Oakley, nice to meet me. People call me the "Cataloger", my job is to keep track of all items and people that enter or leave the building. If you come here a lot then we will be talking often." She stood from her chair and tossed the magazine on the desk. Follow me, I'll take you to Rycroft. He is expecting you, and a few others."
She began walking away, not bothering to wait for Aileana to follow. She walked to a elevator and stepped on, holding the door open for her. "Come on child, get on. We're taking a ride to the top floor."

"Nice to meet you t-- you, yeah." Aileana had spouted the phrase from The book of People almost to perfection when she noticed the little quirk in Jeannette's own. It was kind of funny, in a way. She smiled, chortling a little.
Considering her new work at Hydra Corp., she'd likely find herself returning, which made her glad, as Jeannette seemed to be a nice person, if only a tad... Egocentric. She recognized that to perfection. Anxious to see Mr. Rycroft, she couldn't believe he'd been expecting her already. It seemed like a few minutes ago she was still learning of powers and Stimpacks. Might this be a little fast?
She followed her into the elevator, wondering why she'd been called a child by someone that could pass for her age, perhaps even younger with some luck. "So keeping track of things... What kind of things?" That was straight from her trusty book: small talk, a way to pass time, build relationships slowly AND gather random tidbits of information.
((Yes, I know I said: Nice to meet "ME" in the last post. It was a mistake. I was tired. I decided to keep it because it was funny.))
As they stepped on to the elevator Jeannette pressed the button to go up. The door was made of glass, circular to try and allow a bit more space in the otherwise cramped compartment. The elevator shot up with surprising speed, made to go from one floor to the next in as little time as possible. As they went up the first ten floors in the express elevator all they had to look at was the inside of the elevator shaft that was on the other side of the glass door, but from the eleventh floor and higher the dull metal walls were replaced with a large glass window that opened up to reveal the city outside. As they continued up higher Jeannette turned her back to the window and looked at the wall behind them. She sniffed as the girl asked her the question. It wasn't really noticeable before, but now that she spoke more words in her longer sentences, there was a hint of an Australian accent that could be heard in her voice.
"Things? Hmm..." She gave a slight shrug of one shoulder. "Everything. Hydra corp. is a very large company, and we make very dangerous things." She now looked at Aileana. "Recently some of these things have been coming up missing. But that is not for me to talk about right now. Every time we have something shipped to this facility, here in Osiris city, I make a log of it. Rather it is items, medical supplies, weapons, or people. And by people I mean employees. Like you. I write it all down and put everything into nice neat categories so that it is easy to find later on. Everything that comes in is given a number for tracking, and it is my job to keep track of it when it leaves, and what it was used for. If someone is killed by one of our weapons, we know who it was that used it. Understand?" She didn't wait for her to reply. "Good. Come on."
The door BINGED as it reached the top, 100th floor. Because the glass door that they had stepped into was now facing a large window overlooking the city, it didn't open back up, instead the wall behind them opened to reveal a long hallway cluttered with people. There were scientist everywhere rushing back and forth, all holding papers, documents, and briefcases. All dressed in black dress pants or skirts, black ties, white shirts, and white lab coats.
When the door fully opened, all the scientist stopped to stare at whoever was standing in the elevator, shock and and a bit of fear was clear on their faces. One man had to stop to push his glasses back up to their propper place as he stared wide eyed. As they saw that it was Jeannette standing there they all relaxed and slowly went back to what they were doing. Jeannette didn't seem to notice their reaction. She stepped out of the elevator and reached out her hand to her right. A woman with glasses and a computer tablet was standing on the side of the elevator's door and proceeded to hand the tablet to her. Neither of them didn't spoke them acknowledged each other. On the opposite side of the woman was a line of seven guards, much like the one Aileana had seen in training, all lined up holding assault rifles.
Jeannette began typing on the touch screen rapidly as she walked. "Rycroft's office is at the end of the hall in the 7Th corridor. Come this way." Down a separate hall there was a large tube like corridor with a ceiling lined with lights that glowed a slight neon blue. The corridor was large enough for two golf carts to go two and from their destinations, side by side. Which was exactly what it was made for. There was a parking area for several of these carts off to the side of the tube like tunnel, and Jeannette sat down in one of them on the drivers side, waiting for Aileana to get in. "It is just a short drive down. Do you have any questions before we get there?"

((I figured I'd just go along S***, I left some of your post in there. There. Edited out ))
Aileana peered at her slippers, these were not the clothes to see Mr. Rycroft in, she thought. Ah well, it's not like I can go change or anything! The elevator surprised her, what with its rustic appearance in the midst of such a boring building. It wasn't until it began to ascend that she became a little discomforted. Warning, warning: no yums in stomach. I repeat, there are NO YUMS in stomach. Need to find something delicious... And soon.
"Ah..." She avoided asking further about the disappearance of items, imagining what these dangerous things could be. "Rail guns. They totally have rail guns! I'd love to frag someone with a pew! Aileana gave an infatuated sigh, staring at the ceiling as she fantasized, following Jeannette in a zombie-like fashion.
Somewhere down the line she came to and became surprised: they kept track of who used what weapon? She was, sadly, interrupted before she could imagine War of the Worlds' game developers keeping track of every frag... The sound of the door startled her, as did the '#100' on the little screen.
"Wow..." A hand quickly drew itself up to cover her mouth. "Sorry, it's just really high up here. It's pretty neat." Or rather, it was neat until they, or perhaps just her, were seen as circus freaks by none other than the drones parading about the cubicles and machines. "Hey! Jeannette didn't say good morning to the lady! That's not polite..." Well that had been odd. Was the woman not to be trusted? "Good morning, miss." She figured it'd do no harm, unless the woman were truly bitter.
There was little time to take in the new environment, which had Aileana noticing the carts, the neon glow, and a long tunnel. Still looking to where it could end, she got on the other seat. "Are there any peeves I should avoid as to not annoy Mr. Rycroft? I'd like to make a good impression." She smiled, hoping that'd add some credibility to the question.

Jeannette wondered if the girl was going to speak to everyone they came across. She had frowned when Aileana had spoken to the woman at the elevator doors, but hadn't said anything about it. The girl will learn as she goes along...
She made a small snort like noise when Aileana got into the cart and asked if there was anything that would annoy Rycroft. She waited a bit before answering, backing the cart out of the parking space and heading down the tunnel."Yes, there is. Almost everything bothers him, but he won't let you know it. If you annoy him too much he will just fire you and you'll never even know what you did wrong. Mr. Rycroft is a very busy and egotistical man. He doesn't like when people come to his office announced to bother him with nonsense. If you ever need to talk to him again after this, make sure it is for good reason. You are expected to be there this time, but he will most likely be annoyed at the fact that he has to talk to you just because that is how he is. We are short on numbers so we have been using more sensitives on the field to fill in the gaps. He will fill you in on the situation in what is required of you."
There were small red lights spaced about every 20 feet to serve as traffic lanes on the tunnels floor. The right lane, which they were in, was only used to head in the direction of Rycroft's office, which was to the north. The left lane went back to the southern part of the building, which was where the entrance was. It took maybe five minutes to speed the little cart to the other end of the tunnel. "Alright, it's just around the corner." She parked the cart in the space provided at the end of the tunnel and got out of the small vehicle. She turned the corner and lead Aileana to two large wooden doors, both were closed with a pair of more black armor clad guards stationed on both sides.
"Here are the ground rules: Be polite. Don't stare him in the eyes for too long. And don't make him angry. It's best to respond with a lot of 'Yes sirs', or compliments to stroke his ego. Answer his questions truthfully, and don't waste his time. Follow those rules and you'll be just fine. She touched a finger to her ear to reveal a small Bluetooth headset. "Yes... I'm on my way.... Of course." Jeannette now looked back to Aileana. "I'm needed elsewhere now. Alright kid, It's show time. Good luck." She flashed a wolf like grin and opened the two double doors at the same time. "MR. Rycroft, this is miss Roseberry, the girl you requested to see. I'll leave you to your interview." She gave a small quick bow and walked back out the room, clutching her tablet to her chest and closing the doors back as she left Aileana in the room...

((In case you missed it, there is one last post in the main halls before this one.))
Rycroft sat at the desk, the back of the chair was facing away from Aileana and towards a large picture window that overlooked the city, much like the one on the elevator but showing a different view. about a dozen flat screen TV monitors lined the walls, all of them were turned off. "I know that. Take care of it.... I don't want to hear excuses. Just get it done."
His voice was low and calm, but based on the tone it was obvious the conversation was important. He let off a deep low sigh, exhaling with a large amount of force through his nose. "Let me know when it is recovered. Don't bother me again until you are finished." He touched his ear and turned the Bluetooth off, ending the call.
If he had heard Jeannette enter the room he didn't make any movements to indicate that he had taken notice of her presence. He slowly turned his chair around to face Aileana, fingers steepled together, elbows resting on the sides of the armrest of his chair, and his fingers tips slightly touching his mouth. "Ah, yes. Miss Aileana Roseberry... A pleasure to meet you..."
