I am feeling much better today, thank you! It turned out not to be a normal cold, but it was actually the flu. The first two through three days weren't so bad, but the three that followed were torture. I'm still a bit tired, but the lightheaded feeling, the upset stomach, and all those other evil flu symptoms have vanished.
I haven't had a proper meal in the last three days since I couldn't keep any food in my stomach, so I'll get something to eat and then I'll catch up on reading.
Time to chow down! ;D
EDIT: Alright, Naida is in her bedroom sleeping. It is a few days late, but the day tracker thing has been updated. We are now officially on day 5!
I have a question though. Over here in Michigan we were suppose to get a snow storm with about 6 feet of snow, but instead they said it headed up north. I thought at one point your bio said you lived in Canada, is that correct? If so, did you guys get the snow storm instead?

I started updating the weapon/armor stats. I decided to give all the weapons a damage boost. It isn't really a X2 damage boost, but close to it. I wanted it to be where if you get shot with a Rycroft special it actually does damage instead of just the dinkly +1...
I'll post up the full list later, but the Rycroft special will now give +10 on to your attack. So a perfect 30 critical hit roll will make the weapon do 40 damage to its victim, which is enough to take half the life of a normal human and put the average person in the hospital. I think that makes more sense.
I have decided to lower certain stats for armor so that the bonus isn't as high. The whole reason we stopped using the D100 system was because battles took too long. So even with good armor players will still be taking damage because the defense boost will be lower than the weapon's damage boost. I want it to be where one player will keep taking damage to get battles moving along. Last thing, then I am going to get some rest.
I will also be working on the VBS stims, because with the weapon boost they may need some adjusting. So needless to say, the ESP-9000 gloves will also be getting a SP boost to keep humans and Sensitives damage bonuses evened out. The complete list will be posted up within a few days. I just need to make sure all the stats make sense.

No snow as of yet I actually just took the mustang for a trip around the lot. Almost time to come out of storage. Tonight the weather is suppose to change, chance of snow but it looks more like freezing rain and then rain for tomorrow. At least it cuts down on the shoveling.
I like the boost for weapons. You know me I always felt damage values were low when we were shot.
I probably won't get to posting today either. I'm still putting the Smart Wash back together and I have a meet and greet with the future (new) property owners about employment opportunities. If the weather is as expected tomorrow I should make it to Casa de Luna after I complain to the management on my neighbor keeping me up most of the night.

Well played Bernard. Complaining about your neighbor as if you were there all night to listen to him trash his room. Dang it, stop covering your tracks. The cops can't do their jobs.
But it is nice to hear the weather passed you up as well. The winter has been a mild one this year. ;D Looks like your real life day is just as busy as Bernard's. You have so much to get done. You say you have to put the "smart wash" back together... I don't think I know what that is... I'm not sure I've ever asked you if that is what you do for a living. Do you repair broken machines? Or is that just something you are doing because you need the machine for another task?
My brothers and I have tampered around with repairing our broken Xbox several times, but we've never really had to do anything major.

Why thank you! It would only be a matter of time before the cops start poking their heads around asking questions. I figured I would try to nip it in the butt early.
The Smartwash is an automated truck was similar to that which you see for cars with brushes and the high pressure spray although on a much larger scale. It is my helper and when it it injured as such makes for much more physical labor. I do a lot of the repairs on the equipment here myself.
I am playing around with this deaf aspect a little. Looking into the super power weaknesses I agree with the negatives to sneak attacks but the combat mofifiers are equivalent to that of being "Blind". I don't think being deaf sdhould make that much of a difference to combat. What is the reasoning behind it??
Ah, so that is what a smartwash is. I had no idea. And I had to read over your question a few times before I understood what you were referring to. I understand now. You mean these:
23. Deaf: You can no longer hear and it sometimes makes things harder for you. (Having super hearing will cancel out this weakness) stats: -20 to attacks -20 to defense -30 to defense for sneak attacks -10 to life skills dealing with sound
24. Blind: You can no longer see, and it sometimes makes things harder for you. ( Having Super vision will cancel this weakness out.) stats: -20 to attacks -20 to defense -20 to life skills dealing with sight
Hmmm... The reasoning behind giving an additional "weakness" to deaf people was because I heard that blind people have increased hearing, smell, and touch. All their other senses are increased. And although you can still see when you are deaf, you would not be able to tell if someone is sneaking up BEHIND you.
I will explain a bit more. In order to use sneak attack, the player first has to successfully hide, which cancels out a chance of a player automatically seeing or hearing them. But if a blind person were to do a successful observation check, they could still attempt to hear them without a penalty. A deaf person would have no such advantage. If we then put environment into the equation, and we say that it is at night, in a pitch black warehouse, sight would be useless in that case. The only way to find a person using the Stealth skill would be to attempt to hear them. Does that logic make sense?
I might have to make some changes to the weakness a bit because some are constant effects and others are not. Maybe I should think of triggers that activate them. I had originally set it up where players would have a weakness number. Like say No.4 was your weakness number. Whenever you roll a 4, whether it be in single or double digits, it would activate your weakness when using the dice log. So 4, 40, 44, 34, ETC, would all activate your weakness. I scrapped that idea because I thought it would be confusing...
I was referring mainly to the combat skills. a deaf person would see the sword attack coming and react far more readily than the blind person relying on hearing the trajectory of the blade to overcome it.
EDIT: Well if I'm going to critically fail at something an simple observation such as that is the way to do it. If successful he would have picked up a glimpse of Lloyd being lead away in cuffs by the police and perhaps a glimpse of "what's that heroes name??" Anyways it was a good occasion to falter.
Now if I was reading lips that situation could have been quite embarrassing or worse yet responding to somebodies thoughts thinking they had said it out loud.
As for an weak number I do like it (it does simplify things really as who cares if the number is public knowledge) although it would come up far more frequently than many of the disabilities. Another negative is that it takes away from somebody using your weakness against you. I would work with what you have started with a few tweaks. It adds variety to the Sensitive.

Ah, I see. I suppose it depends on the weapon that is being used. Yes, they could dodge a sword if they saw it coming, but what about a gun? If a sniper shot at them and missed the first shot and the bullet didn't land in eye sight, they would never know that a second bullet would be inbound and aimed at their head because they never heard nor saw the bullet. Or in Bernard's case, he saw the flash of lightning but didn't hear the thunder. Replace that with a sniper bullet, and he would have a -20 DEF roll to attempt to dodge the next incoming bullet.
That would be where their attack weakness would kick in.
EDIT: You actually bought all that stuff for the manager? lol! I'll get around to the news post. I got a bit behind in my posting.

So it's case by case not a strict -20 across the board like it seems Bernard still has his "spidey sense" to warn him
Aye. I'll get around to figuring out an easy way to trigger some of the more tricky Weaknesses because some are hard to guess when the weakness kicks in and when it doesn't. I could simply say -20 to gun DEF but then there is explosions, cars, ETC. I have an idea about what I am going to do about the bank robbery. The news report won't take place right away because the news crew, Flux and Hydra will have a small interaction at the scene of the crime.
