I hope that all made sense. I know you were satisfied with the d30 but the more I thought of an explosion that would take out a foot thick reinforced wall the more I felt it appropriate that Bernard would sustain some significant damage. The charge was not shaped, unless it was placed in a box by a party planning a heist themselves to be remotely detonated from the outside( how's that for creative?)so the force of the explosion would be relatively equal in all directions. A solitary grenade gives +10 damage so I went from there. I still feel it is low (explosions kill) but it will take the wind out of his Bravado.
The banks bells are still ringing. The blast has also deafened Bernard and whether the damage momentary or permanent remains to be determined.
Your post made sense to me. I'm now going to wrap up the bank robbery scene. Although, with all the damage that was caused, and the security footage, Bernard and Lloyd left quite a big mess behind in their wake. Bernard should expect the authorities to take this rather seriously seeing how the masked biker has struck again.

Yeah, I knew the bank would draw more attention upon the faceless biker. The Explosion and the property damage just added to the mix although it would disguise just what had been taken during the heist and provide a means of escape without facing unwanted opposition.
That damn fool Lloyd continues to plague me. First he attempts a robbery without a disguise. Triggers the alarm with the wrong codes and doesn't pull the door closed behind him upon entering. Now he decides to leave the SMG-10 behind.Tssk Tssk Shameful.
Question will be did I ever handle the weapon without gloves? and how much trace from the first crime scene remains after submerging it in the lake for several hours?? Another dead end??
Might be another dead end. I'm pretty sure Bernard always had gloves on when he used the SMG. Because he bought the gloves before the bridge scene, and he put the biker gear on before visiting Lloyd for the second time. The only thing left is the bank's camera footage and Lloyd himself. Bernard's poor neighbor will now be going to jail. You think if he is put under pressure he will blab to the cops?
Even if he took the SMG, it wouldn't have mattered. He got caught anyways. Looks like Naida has a new lead though for Day 5. She'll be investigating the mysterious bank robbery...

If I had stuck around I would likely be behind bars beside Lloyd given my current condition. Aw, too bad I missed Power flux. I like the hero and all his cheezy lines. Bernard wouldn't know who the heck he was given his sparring partner was Glory not PowerFlux back at the academy.
Nadia is still behind on tracking down the location of the missing vials and their transponders. Now this added to her plate. Poor girl is going to end up dedicated to the bottle. That is is she doesn't end up leading a life of crime herself trying to look good for the Aces.
Not too worried about the gun or Lloyd's testimony. There are far worse things out there that can come out and bite me on the ass.

I was tempted to make James come riding in on his lightning with a box of doughnuts in his free hand, but decided against it. People that know the character would understand, but everyone else would be like "huh...?"
I agree. I purposely overdid his subdue roll with that ridiculously large blast just because I could. If Bernard had been caught in it he would be planning a prison break right about now instead of planning on counting his well earned loot.
In other less important news, I have finally finished the conversation with Naida and Carson. I didn't feel like writing that. This now ties Carson, Naida, and Hydra all together for the next part of the story. Now to add the final piece to the puzzle.
(Looks at Bernard)

Why is everyone looking at me? You would think I was the one who robbed the bank.
The night is all but over and given Bernard’s condition he isn’t going anywhere until he gets a good night’s rest. Then it’s off to Casa de Luna for some Buttermilk pancakes and catch the morning edition and read up on the bank heist.
Next stop MegoMart for some lock picks to open that box and a holster for the Rycroft Special. Maybe, a sporty leather jacket and a new helmet to enhance my look. I might also swing by the car dealership and take a look at a new bike. The autobike at a purchase price of $1000 seems like a great candidate but who buys a bike in the snow?.
Lunch and then a well deserved nap. Maybe take a look into that box. Entertain.Don’t really want to draw any unwanted attention showing up to Exxel in the day. I’ll do my business at night.
Drinks with Wavelink
Still need a standard combat suit(megoMart should carry something similar don't you think?) and maybe a plasma pistol or a HAA pistol and a bat. There is always the ESP 6000 but I don’t want to tip my hand that I’m a sensitive just yet or seem over eager. Let them make the first move.
Sounds like a full day already.

I done caught the sickness! I feel like crap today so I probably won't be doing much posting or work on the site over the weekend. As soon as I feel better I'll get to work on adjusting the stats to all of the items. Hopefully I'll feel better by Sunday.
And wow. It looks like Bernard's day is packed. He should buy himself a blackberry to keep up with that busy schedule of his. There's no rest for the wicked it seems. Unless of course they are put behind bars... (that seems unlikely for Bernard though)
Alright, time to get some rest. I'll be checking in on the site from time to time to see if you post (or new guy sends in his bio), but as I said earlier, no posting for me until I feel better.

Get some rest and don't worry about me. I'll be here when you return. I'm in the middle of putting a machine back together (hopefully it runs) so I may or may not get something up. I'm basically just getting back to the apartment, stowing the stolen goods, cleaning up and shutting down for the evening.
Hope you begin to feel better. That's no way to spend your weekend.
