I have an idea about what I am going to do about the bank robbery. The news report won't take place right away because the news crew, Flux and Hydra will have a small interaction at the scene of the crime.
That's fine.I'm in no real hurry. I was just trying to elude to the fact of Lloyd's capture. It had already been established Mr. Kim is usually glued to the television set and a likely source to catch the feed.
Next stop to my apartment to pick a lock. I went with improvised tools as you do not get quality tools over the counter at the 7-11. This could take a while to crack. I could test some telekinetic manipulation although that skill set will manifest much, much later
Whew... Time for the bank... again... Hydra doesn't like the trend Mister Bernard is setting with all the murders and robberies. I think it is time they send in some people to get the job done.
And Bernard could always melt the safe open, you know, like he did the big bank vault. There is the risk of melting the contents inside into a pulp of hot goo and burning down the apartment complex, but at least it will be open quickly. ;D
I think I'll do a small news post just to give Bernard a small idea on what is going on...
I DIDN"T leave any bodies lying around this time. Lloyd and the guards were still breathing when I made my exit. The destruction part I'll own up to although how was I to know that there was C-4 in one of the boxes.
Copycats??? Cool that means I'm Infamous For my next act...........

Awhile ago you mentioned some other superheroes you played in the past. You have any ideas on making some other characters and playing around with them on here? Of course they would skip the whole tutorial zone thing because you already went through it.
Oh yeah, and that reminds me. I might get rid of that entire area. I'm thinking about moving the training Dojo into Hydra corp, and just make the starting players start the tutorial in the RP with everyone else and just give them small simple task on how to use their skills and the roll dice. That way if people wanted to they could go back and train with James or something...

I might make some lessor minions (singular ability) at some point to side with Bernard forming a small team but with the random power selection nothing can be formed until powers are determined so I'm holding off until the time comes.
I like the idea of scrapping the tutorial and having the player jump right in there. Sink or Swim...most players survival instincts will enable them to pick it up quickly. Besides we can herd them in the right direction with a stick.
What the junk... Are you serious. You opened the box in one try? He didn't even have to bang it on the floor a few times. Looks like the Dice log is starting to like you.
And you rolled a perfect 10. This document is important, but doesn't really reveal much. I'll post it in your room as a reply. In other news! I finished the weapon upgrades, so I'll also be posting that up in a little while.

I know I was surprised as well. I almost wasted it on a observation roll to lipread the news just before I remembered close captioning. Whew!
I figure the 10 would be most of the wrap up so to speak. I wanted to roll an 3 or 8, the stuff before the document is brought to a close. Still it should provide some intrigue.
EDIT: Looks like I may be paying that nosy reporter a visit sooner than I thought. I had brought the digital camera as I had been toying around with a legitimate day job but didn't want to just jump on the vigilante biker angle [too Peter Parker(ish)] This may give me the angle I'm looking for. Is the document typed (most likely) or hand written notes (bonus for me. )

Actually the 10th document in the series is a whole new docoment. Documents No.1-9 are a whole other... project... I should say, and is slightly (un)related to the 10th document. Anyways. The document you have is typed from a computer. Almost no one writes by hand now days.
I'm almost done adjusting the stats on everything. I already started posting everything up. I forgot that the Aces had illegal weapons in the Underground that Hydra corp. doesn't sell to the public, so I had to go back and make some minor adjustments those too. I just have to edit the general store items now, and then I have to make a post in the announcements page so that I know which day I made all of these changes.
AND THEN! I can post what is going on in the bank.
EDIT: To make things easier for you here is the stats for the gear you have:
Why do guns give so much defence??? I know you are accounting for range but doesn't it defeat the purpose of raising the ATK bonus to hasten combat. The new DEF bonuses simply negate much of the effectiveness.
Sicking Glory on me already??? I haven't even got to torment Naida yet.
EDIT: I thought we were currently morning Day 5. The day tracker indicates evening. My how the day flew by. Maybe I'm not as good at this lockpicking thing as I first thought

You are correct it is suppose to say morning. Perhaps the code got messed up somewhere along the line and switched back to night, or I forgot to change it to morning... Although I am pretty sure it said morning a few days ago... The picture is correct, just not the words. I'll fix that...
And the guns defenses would only negate the damage by a little bit. You will still be doing extra damage to the enemy from skill bonuses as well, so I think it evens out. With lower armor stats, your only main advantage to not being shot with a gun is the range, such as taking cover behind a truck or something. Instead of giving bonuses for objects the player hides behind when shooting I just added the bonus to the weapon to compensate (swords are no good at long range and can't really block bullets). I'm also considering adding high powered ammunition to the list, like Armored piercing bullets to do more damage with certain ranged weapons. The ammo will cost more, but will give you more damage too.
Since we now have less HP and the guns are doing more damage, two to three hits should bring the battle close to an end. When Bernard has 10 Hydra guards shooting at him, he'll be happy he can take cover and dodge those bullets.
