Since Lloyd didn't question his arrival on the fifth floor the flying thing is kept hushed the moment. I want him clueless to the fact I can just leave him standing there holding the bag so to speak.
As for easy, I wouldn't have it any other way. Expect the worst and roll with the punches. I just hope I can melt through this safe like it was made of plastic. If not it could be a life changing experience of the unfortunate variety. The ease of success or failure could very well determine our escape.

Woooo. Where did time go? I seemed to have wasted a lot of it and wasn't able to post earlier..
I was going to have Lloyd question the arrival of the biker man, but then decided against it. He had just finished getting high so it would make sense that he isn't always thinking straight. Bernard now has about 10 SP to work with, if you roll anywhere in the 40s you'll be safe. Budget your SP wisely and you'll have several tries to get that vault open. But with the arrival of the incoming guards, lets just hope they can both get out of the bank in one piece.
EDIT: LOL. I just read your post. Why does Bernard want to Smack Lloyd? He has been nothing but helpful! ;D The stage is set, lets see what Bernard does next.
EDIT 2: Oh wow. I took a look at your bio page. I see you've updated your super powers and gave them more detail! I like the description of how his powers operate.

Your post indicates there are 4 locks on the door (tumblers or keypad?). Loser Lloyd indicated they blew the hinges in the last job. 40% is a success?? Do I need 4 successful attempts to accomplish the task?? I had thought I would have to do "x" amount of damage to the door.
Just for a rough timeline can we figure each tier of posting (Bernard,Lloyd,Guard 1, Guard 2,) repeat for tier two, would represent a time frame of 30 seconds? a min of 4 attempts to break through the door would take a minimum of 2 minutes using this clock. I had already imposed a deadline of 5 mins (10 posts each) before reinforcements arrive. This was just an estimated guess and could fluxuate either way. Preferablythe deadline extends in my favor with the snow storm that has hit the city all day. ;D Good thing I have a few blue vials with me.
The added explanation of ESP power was from another creation I once played. I found it fitting. Glad you liked it.
Lloyd's a keeper.Definitely the mastermind behind the plan and somebody to look up to.

Good questions Lets start with the vault lock. It has a keypad to open it, but four locks that keep it in place. Uhh, I'll just show you some pics for what I had in mind instead of describing it:
The first one is how I imagined the locks to be. Not sure if you can see it, but there are four on each corner, the bottom one gives a better view. Without the access ode the only way in is to blast the locks off and knock the door down.
We can do this two ways.
First: rolling a 40 would be a success because the 10 SP would give you the boost you need to succeed. You would have to do four rolls with a 50 or higher success rate with each roll. If you think you can hit +50 each time for 1 shot blasts to each lock, go for it. It will be a lot faster if you can do them all in one try.
But if you think it is better to go for the Jedi method of burning your way through and doing continuous damage, we can do that too. The door will have 120 HP (like a sensitive) and will have a defense roll to resist the assault if you choose to do the X amount of damage. It might take longer, but you don't have to fear your attacks failing.
The order of battle will be as you said: Bernard, Lloyd, Guard 1, Guard 2. As for time, we'll see how things go.
And yes, I like how Bernard's powers are evolving. Its like he is getting more comfortable with them and trying new things. I really like how he has been experimenting and trying to force thoughts into other people's minds. I wonder how much more he will grow.
EDIT: Congrats on making 102 posts. You have now advanced to being a Junior class!

Well I took your advice and took the hasty approach focusing on all four restraints at once. Oddly, the die roll co-operated giving me an outrageously high result making short work of the project. I can only hope I am as fortunate through the remainder of the encounter. Now to load up the bags and get out of Dodge.
Care to elaborate on what I find inside?
Note I was going to have the the second access door close as the alarm sounded trapping Bernard on the other side. I had always thought I would burn my way out through the back of the vault leaving Lloyd holding the bag anyways.
EDIT: Oooops looks like I left the part of the access door sliding shut in. Maybe I am trapped
Curious to read the chaos that has ensued since I departed the lobby.

Didn't have the time to post earlier. Inside the vault will be lock-boxes and bags of money. A big open room lined from top to bottom with money, carts, and more money! I'll leave it up to you to describe the inside since I'm playing three other people.
And lets roll to see how much money you get. Whatever I roll I will multiply that X50. So a perfect 100 Roll will give you $5000. Sound fair? Money roll: 70X50= $3500. That is how much you will be able to grab. Want to look for more? If it isn't enough, lets make it where you can do a search roll to grab more loot. Success means he finds more money, fail and... well I guess he can work on his escape or waste more time looking for money.
And I didn't expect your post to be so complicated! Brainwashing and Vault busting at the same time? The madness! I didn't think Bernard would turn the one guard against the other. This should even the odds a lot. I think I'm also going to throw in a twist...
Lets start the countdown. You have 10 posts to get out of the bank, starting with Lloyd's post that I'm writing now.
EDIT: You brain washed the younger guard right? Some how the more I reread the post the more confused I became... I think I did it right though. I guess it doesn't matter because one guard is brain washed and one isn't.
Anyways, instead of having four turns in the fight we will have three. I'm making the two guards share a post.

Yeah you got it right I pushed the thought into the junior guard. Bernard spoke as if in conversation with the Senior guard insinuating his involvement.
Question. Junior rolled a natural 1.Critical Failure. Should his gun not have jammed or some similar mishap?
I like the rolling idea although a max cash grab of $5000 per turn seems rather low for the setting. Its not like i'm stuffing my pockets with loose bills. I was thinking x100. Even at x100, three successful searches (4 turns) would net an avg profit of $20 000.More like the haul taken from a bank and still not outragious considering the risk. I still have to escape. As you can see, I like the idea of an additional roll for additional cash but a search roll seems odd considering you have indicated the walls are lined with money from top to bottom. What exactly would I be searching for??
In comparison, I did grab almost $6000 in product from the armored car heist.
I don't know if I want to incorporate critical failures. Gun jamming makes sense, but what happens if you use a sword, your fist, a club, or a super power? So I just made him do a normal miss. It was easier to write.
x100 is a lot of money! If Bernard made $20,000 from this one heist, he may not have to do another crime for quite some time. Grabbing $10,000 from this heist will even him out for the money he was suppose to get on Payday, but didn't receive because he didn't have a real job at the time. Having to earn money gives a bit of motivation for new ideas. In real life how much money does a bank keep in a bundle? I have no clue! Can a single person grab $20,000 worth of cash in under 5 mins and carry it out in time?
I imagine the bank wouldn't leave the money in a big pile laying on the floor... So I guess he would be pulling the drawers open to see how much cash is inside to take the money. You could have him open several drawers (as search rolls) and pull the money out, and then go back to actually collect the money after searching. Like grabbing random handfuls of cash and stuffing it in his bag. If he opened a drawer of money that only had bundles of 1 dollar bills, he wouldn't carry out as much money as opposed to opening a drawer filled with 100 dollar bundles. How would he know which drawer has which amount of money inside? I assumed banks would have a large variety of bills in stock.
If he leaves now he gets to keep what he has, but if he stays to open a large amount of draws (as in searching for a large amount) he can risk collecting more money and encountering the reinforcements. Don't most robberies have teams of people to speed up the process of collecting?
EDIT: Did a quick search. Banks have the money color coded. So he wouldn't know which color is in which drawer unless he first opens it up: Currency strap

brick (U.S.A) - Unit of measurement used by the BEP. A strap is 100 notes banded together, forty straps make a brick. Consists of 4000 notes weighing about 4 kilograms or 8.8 pounds.
A strap of $1's is $100, a brick of the same denomination is $4,000, to me that is easy pickings. Like loading a cart full of groceries. How much could your grab in a minute?? a brick of 100's is 400,000. So yeah in 5 minutes I figured I could make off with a boatload of cash. Looks like Bernard can only find one dollar bills
I am likely going to spend at least 4 turns collecting. Not likely going to leave with less than $10, 000 to support my cause.
At least I'm off to a decent start.

Guns jam beyond repair; swords, fist and clubs break;Super Powers use all your remaining SP. Basically it take the attack form out of the equation for the remainder of the fight.
EDIT: One thing I found in my travels was vault walls are usually a foot thick. In comparisons the doors are typically 3 feet thick. I imagine the second security door is less than both cases.Should be easier getting out than I first thought.
I've had my eye on this 7. ESP-900 Power Glove: Stats: +10 Max SP +10 DEF Price: $10,000 Eats up a large chunk quickly although I can get by with little blue vials if need be. I still have to replace my mode of transportation.
