I reread your post and I see what you mean now. He had the gun concealed but flipped the safety off. When you said he turned around to see if anyone was following, I imagined him drawing the gun at the same time so that if someone WAS following they would be staring down the barrel end of the gun. I guess my imagination filled in unwanted gaps. I'll be more careful with that.
I guess her seeing where he went would depend on how high he went and how fast... My original idea was for Naida to follow him to see where he would go. I think I will edit the first half of my post a bit anyways now that I know what you had intended. Either way he still got away.
As for the vials, I think it is important that you know how many tracking devices are hidden within your bag since he is searching for them and knows what to look for. He will find a total of 8 fake vials.
EDIT: You had made a comment about his hat, hoodie, and jacket. The only people that saw him was Naida and the Aces. So unless Naida spots him out sometime soon (as in the next day), I don't think she would really remember what the jacket looked like to that extent. All other leads about him were pretty much a dead end.

I was going to ask about the vials but my afternoon somehow disappeared. Given the numbers I will assume three of each color vial. Since one blue is accounted for that leaves 3 red, 3 yellow and 2 blue that are found. Tomorrow is another day.
EDIT: I half expected to log on this morning to find that I was being challenged by a harem of punks trying to rid me of my possessions. Could have used a dead body to dress in my clothes and clear my trail.
I was looking into the option of an apartment a the Soaring Heights Complex. I figure it would be humorous to have Nadia find a signal so close the next time she logged on. Given the glitches she has experience over the past 24 hours she may just question the reliability of the reading. The write up for the apartments is indicated at $400 per month. Is this a dive??? Seems awfully inexpensive. How do they stay in business??I would figure it closer to $400 a week at least given what we make on a daily basis. Living expenses should eat up a major portion of our income. Making it necessary to work. Why do you think there are people out on the streets. All are not like Bernard trying to fall under the radar. ((EDIT EDIT: I MISSED THE PART ABOUT THE MONTH BEING REAL TIME))

Why so violent mister Bernard? No no, there shall be no dead bodies... for now anyways...
Yeah it is one month real life time. Which at this rate is almost daily in RP time. And You can't delete your own posts? I didn't know that. I think I'll change that so that members can edit and delete the things they post themselves. Makes it so much easier.
I was planning on having Carson give Bernard a mission to plant the tracking devices around the city to throw off Hydra, but it looks like he is doing that mission on his own.
Hydra is going to be very confused with the tracking devices in the water, the other in the apartments, and one with Carson. Oops and I almost forgot the ones in the taxi. At this rate they'll never find the real vials!
EDIT: I can't find settings to allow members to delete their own posts... I guess Proboards doesn't like that type of thing...

Violent?? What's a psycotic super villain without a trail of bodies to celebrate his emergence? Naida would have had her hands full if he found her following him in the ally with no powers to protect her and all. Just sayin', Dead men/women tell no tales.
None of the trackers made it to the apartments. Bernard threw 4 into the lake and ditched four in the taxi. Although I never really stated how many ended up on a tour of the city with the cabbi. The would have ended up at the apartment with me if I had failed my read on the driver and never had the time to plant the decoys. Sorry for the confusion.
With one month real time equalling a day it certainly does make it alot harder to make ends meet.

Aw, that is true he did ditch the last 4 in the cab. And I thought about that with her powers. If he had spotted her I just realized she has no weapons, and very little power. I think I'm gonna make her super train at the start of the new day to increase her power level. She is starting to get a bit flabby.
Oh snap! That's right. If one month= one day in game time, all our money is gonna go to rent! I guess that's why people rebelled against Hydra and took up a life of crime. An honest living just don't pay like it used to.

If ever there was an unfortunate situation to promote re-rolls that was it. I seem to be setting a trend. First the incident during training purchasing the stims, now this! Why is it the Bernard "wiffs" miserably every time he tries to barter a more favorable price? And people wonder why he has become so violent.
EDIT: I will use my remaining SP to push the result past Critical Fail

Lol I don't know, even with powers that is still an Epic fail for when it comes to rolls. ;D
I'm still thinking about the rerolls. You see if Bernard had been at max lvl 40/40, then he would have rolled a 43 instead. And if he had a type of persuasion skill he could have bumped that up by +10 points. Of course that scenario only helps Sensitive players. I'm pretty sure if people had rerolls they would use those instead of their powers. I just need a bit more time to think through the pros and cons...
As for the steep price of $400 a day, Bernard could always stoop to stealing items worth $400 every single day. That should even things out a bit...

I always thought epic fails were rolls below 5%, 6%-50% fail, 51% to 94% success, and 95% and higher critical success. Although, I have been known to be wrong before.
That's a lot of stealing, maybe I will have to get a legitimate job on the side Yeah, can't see that happening anytime soon
You still have quite a bit of those vials on hand. That should get you halfway there. Steal from a few gas stations, mug a plump wealthy man on the street, and you'll be set for life. Well, set for a few days anyways...
I noticed we don't have a bank on the map. How are the criminals suppose to rob a bank full of cash without a bank in the city? I'll get around to adding one of those. I'm also updating Glory's costume for her bio and picture. About a month ago I lost the data on my laptop, so the pictures I had were deleted. I wanted to make some small modifications to her costume, but without the original Hero maker save, I just had to remake her from scratch.

Yeah, I really wanted to hold off on another visit to Club Exxel so soon but I will be cash strapped by mid day and may have little choice. I have thought of walking into the club with the red vials and offering them as a peace offering to Carson promising him the remainder of the vials for what he was planning to pay his crew( how much would that be?) for pulling off the heist successfully in the first place.
He explains he had done Carson a favor interfering with the robber. Hydra is divided as to speculating on the source of the heist given the appearance of the vigilante biker, be it the Wylde Aces or a rouge operative. AND he has sent the goodie-goodies on a wild goose chase around the city taking the locators they had stashed with the product.
I likely won't be making friends of Geoffrey and Garrett if that were to happen.
EDIT: Do I recognize the "red" vials as Stim Paks or are they something different?
If we can use any "unlearned" skill at a penalty how does a skill like Dual Wield work???
Can we learn "new" skills in place of our initial selections? and if so how is it possible???
ADDED THOUGHT:
3. Short burst: You shoot 4 bullets to take down multiple targets. This attack lets you roll once for each bullet, this is like getting 4 attacks in one turn (Can focus all 4 attacks on one enemy). However, you will get a -5 roll to accuracy for each attack. Meaning, you'll have to -5 from your attack roll for each bullet you shoot. This attack can do massive amounts of damage, but only if you don't miss... This skill subtracts 4 bullets from clip. (Roll higher than enemy for (D30) combat.) Recharge time: Cannot use twice in a row. Restrictions: AUTOMATIC WEAPONS ONLY. -5 to attack roll, but can attack up to 4 times in one turn. A single Opponent will have four defense turns.
To simplify why not have one attack roll with multiple ATK modifiers. Ie. a 4 shot burst with a SMG-10 has an attack roll of a d30 + [4x+2(weapon bonus)=8]. The defender gets a single defense roll.
