Right... Fast draw doesn't have an item that will boost the percentage of the skills success rate. Alright, well I'll remove the limitation so that players can use any skill in the list. And I'll think about any further rules that will apply to using an untrained skill and then type the rules out for the skills page.
You say you like the idea of a 30% success rate for untrained skills. At the moment it is 50/50. So are you suggesting that untrained skills get a penalty of -20 points?

Alright, that makes sense. I think I might scrap the current description for how skills work and try to make it a lot shorter and easier to understand. I'll try to just describe the basics and leave any other details/questions for the tutorial. I'll edit it some time next week.
We can go ahead and put this system into effect. Everything stays the same except you now have the -20 penalty for using skills not in your list.

Quick question. During my investigation I was going to have Mike the salesman tell Naida how Bernard looked, but I can't remember if he had a mask or helmet on at the time. When he bought his supplies at the general store he had a hoodie on and he bought some goggles. If he still had the hoodie on, then that will be what the police sketch will look like.

The helmet didn't go on until Mike went to retrieve the keys. So yeah, the hoodie, while protecting against camera angles would do little for the close contact encounters with the sales people. It was inevitable that he would not be able to erase all evidence that would lead back to him. Bernard hadn't begun his killing spree until after gathering supplies and he hadn't really had an opportunity to tie up the previous loose ends. Hydra needs something to keep them busy.
EDIT: Funny, doesn't look anything like me!
The other Aces were no where to be seen in the club, but that didn't mean it was empty. Now that it was officially open the club staff workers had been replaced by party goers dancing and having a good time.
This means we have entered evening already?? Whee did the time go??. I thought we would just be approaching noon. No wonder Bernard was so bloody hungry. I still had things to do before the daylight disappeared ended. It takes time to run a believable scam.

Aye, time did blast by. I actually can't remember if I changed the day tracker thing on the sidebar last week... If you still have more stuff to complete in this day then I won't change the day tracker yet. Day 3 will continue on until next Sunday.
Naida still hasn't eaten anything so she is now in the dreaded fatigue status. *Wah, wah, waaaaah*
Sadly I don't think Mike the salesman will be much help in the investigation. Those badly drawn sketches the police make never look like the guy they're looking for. Naida will just have to find a better lead.

I must admit there is some confusion as to where we are on the day counter. I thought upon starting up we were beginning at morning day 3 (part of the reason for the dumpster intro instead of just walking into the nightclub. With Wavelink's post indicating club patrons had arrived all of a sudden we shifted to night day3(before Sunday) as Club Excell is only accessable to the public in the evening and you indicate patrons have arrived. Only thing is if the club is open the cooks would be available for other food options. Given the circumstances it would seem we are in two time periods in the same post.
If the club is open we have to have made it to evening. 12 hours in the club under these circumstances Bernard's nerves would be raw.
I was going to suggest a slow clock with all the dialogue. Four weeks real time would be the equivalent of one day game time. Each week is essentually six hours.
After looking back at the day tracker log, I found that I did change it last week. We started on Day three morning (The 8Th), and last Saturday (14TH) I changed it to night time. Which means that I should have changed it again for today.
All of Bernard's conversation with Wavelink took place in the morning of day three, and the meeting with Carson made the transition over to night of day three. We would technically be on a new day... Bernard would have missed all the people coming in because he was in the VIP room.
For now I'll slow down time since it is just the two of us playing. As I said in my previous post, we'll stretch the day out until next week, and from then on we'll do four weeks a RP day to give us more time. I'll try not to get confused with the time system. (In fact I think I'll mark the site's calender to remind me...)
NOTE: I change the Day tracker time late at night on Saturdays so that when players log on early Sunday morning they will see that the time has already been updated.

I wasn't sure whether or not the underground was common knowledge of not. Even if rumor were true, being what it is I would assume one could not simply walk in and browse the wares and that an invite would be needed. A street dweller walking around with a TSG-14 or a sub machine gun at this point might arouse suspicion. Just looking for something small and cheap that would fit his current social situation.
7. The Rycroft special: A basic revolver that Rycroft brought back to use in this day and time. The weapon has been modified to have better accuracy and is also light weight and easy to conceal. Stats: +1 ATK, +2 DEF (Can dual wield) Clip size: 6 shots. Price: $50
something like that shouldn't raise too much suspicion.

That is true, you can't just walk in and say "I want to buy an illegal weapon, please". That wouldn't go very well. However, with the recent death of the poor old man in the alley (thanks to Bernard), his tale of people like him dying is now true. I think Wavelink can help him out.
