Ok, sorry for the delay. Bernard is now in the den of thieves. I will leave it up to you to introduce the setting and get the ball rolling with Carson.
I've got an angle on how I'm going to play this if I can get the table set the way I want to. We shall see. I'm kind of liking the lead up to the actual meet. It was a good opportunity to explore a bit of character along the way.
EDIT: should the first line of your next post read "Bottoms up." HE murmured. I think there is some gender confusion going on there. I'll try to get something up before the end of the day.

I also liked the lead up. It is starting to build a bit of suspense. Depending on how Bernard plays this, the people he has just met will either become his allies, or his enemies. I'm starting to wonder if Bernard will be able to keep his cool as they get closer to the deal.
Now to turn up the heat. Last time I played Naida she was on her way to the bridge. My next post with her will be a bit long because I will be playing the police and Naida as the follow any leads that they find. For now Nathan will be on hold. There is no need to play the others at the moment so I will leave them where they are.

Okay, Naida's posts are done. As I said, it is long so I broke it down into two parts to make reading a bit easier. If you're busy you can read one part one day and the second part later. Since I was role playing it out myself I did all 20 thousand posts together instead of spacing them out in a back and forth conversation like Wavelink and Bernard. Makes it look like a giant wall of text. My ideas are still floating around, but I won't act on them just yet. I want to see how Bernard reacts when things start to get intense. He may have the power to create heatwaves, but let's see if he will be able to withstand the pressure when things start to get hot.
I had originally thought I put the TSG-14 in the lake with the rest of the gear from the heist. Looking back over the material I can see I was mistaken although the large duffle bag I ditched the items in seems to have disappeared from my inventory. Anyways, nobody is perfect and I'm sure Bernard has left a trail of breadcrumbs behind to follow. I always knew Mike, the sales guy could come back to bite me on the ass. Luckily he should have to rely on his memory as I killed the roll to to avoid the cameras buried behind my hoodie.
Good luck in your search.
EDIT: MY SP is now listed at 4/4. I was at 2/20 for both powers during the Gabriel Crossing Event. I have slept at least twice using my powers between rest periods (see McGuiver bullet removal). Should my SP not read 8/8 or has SP accumulation changed slightly given the amalgamation of counters?

Umm... I'll start with the TSG first. I also thought you put the gun in the lake along with your motorcycle gear, but upon looking back at the bridge shootout and your bullet removal scene I couldn't find any mention of what happen to the gun. So I just assumed it was left on the bridge when you picked up the SMG, because that was the last place I could find it. And I have no idea what happen to the duffle bag with all the other items in it. I'm pretty sure you had a long list of items for all the stolen vials you recovered, but I don't see them in there...
As for the SP, yes you are right it should be 8/8. You can make the adjustment and fix the error. I'm going to go look to see what happen to the other duffle bag. I have a backup of your old item storage so I'll go take a look at that later and see if it is there. If not, I guess it didn't save...

No big deal. The vials are listed in Bernard's medium bag with 4 vials per slot. I have yet to edit to reflect what I am carrying into the nightclub. Basically, 3 stims, 2 unknown, and the blue vial (Hydra SPB Stimulant).
As for the large duffle in the lake, it contained much of the items related to the heist that were not befitting of the homeless. Rope, Basic Helm (liner removed), Advanced Combat Boots, Advanced Combat Gloves, Wet Suit, Basic Goggles (Type 3), Stun Cuffs and the TSG-14. Oh yeah, Two large rocks weighing it down
With Nadia snooping around I am likely to loose all those items anyways. If that is the case, this charade better work favorably so I can restock my shelves.
EDIT:SP modification made

Hmm, yeah he would lose them if Naida recovered them... But I don't know if she will go there and take the vials out of the water. I've been thinking about that. Since it is at the bottom of the water she would have to walk around the park like area looking for them. If Bernard beat her there, he would know they were at the bottom of the water before she did. And since she doesn't know how he looks, she wouldn't know to follow him to the water.
We'll see how things play out. Hmm, maybe you should make a separate list (Like what you wrote above) for the underwater items in case he beats her to them. You never know how things are gonna play out in a RP.

Just a note of discouragement. The vials are not submerged at the artificial lake with the large duffel full of items but tucked away safely in a hidey hole within arm's length of Bernard's cardboard residence within the slums. She should really learn how to read that thing she's carrying around with her.
Sorry, but it will have to do I don't have a safety deposit box at the moment for such valuable items. Besides, who expects a street dweller to own anything valuable and go looking?
OK, I think its's about time for a crap detector roll. I was going to go to the dice log and roll it myself but I thought it might be interesting if I didn't actually know if the result has passed or failed. I know I could always look in the die logs but feel free to generate it by outside means. Just let me know if I have any additional information to rely upon.
I know....Damn Mind Readers. ;D

Oh, good thing you pointed this out. I slightly misread your post. I thought he brought a small amount of the vials with him to negotiate with, and the rest he dumped in the water for safe keeping. After going back to read your post I now see that he only dumped his robbery gear in the water. The tracking device had pointed her in the wrong direction.
Either way, she wasn't going to make her way to the lake just yet, she was going to meet the car dealer first. This does change things a bit though. I'll have to make her bang on the stupid tracking device to make it work right. Dumb technology.

from the lack of any conctete answer I'll assume Bernard receives no telepathic assistance that would disprove Carson's story. I will minus the appropriate SP and repond to the text as provided.
