I haven't seen the movie X-men first class yet. I'll have to take a look at it some day. I only seen the other 3 X-men movies that came out before it. I love super hero shows and movies, but I completely forgot about that one some how.
Anyways, I'll post out my Hydra investigation on Sunday, and I'll see what you come up with on how you get into the club and will just play around that. I'm curious to see what Bernard does.

As for the battle system we're using the D30, 80 HP for humans and 120 HP for Sensitives rules. You can find it by clicking on the "Getting started" link on the left side bar, then clicking on "Rules" in the first step. The battle rules are the third set of rules in the list. To make it easier on you I'll just post the link here: Battle rules

That sums up the rules on how combat works. It should answer most questions. If you want to read the other rules just scroll up or down. For the questions that aren't answered or aren't clear, I figured that the tutorial would help explain it all better. I don't think I edited any of the bios to match the new system, so I'll go ahead and do that now for all bios.

Bah!

My laptop died on me this morning!
I lost EVERYTHING. I backed a few things up online, but a lot of the programs, games, and written documents I had was all lost. I found a program that could restore lost data by gathering the deleted fragments to try and piece them back together. It worked somewhat, but everything is scattered and all over the place and I'm still without a lot of important documents. The good news is that the computer itself still works, I just lost all the information on it.

Anyways, I made my first post in Hydra's medical lab place. I'll do the next Rycroft's office post in the morning to get Naida on her new mission. Can you guess what her new task is?

If I don't get on to post it is because I'm still trying to save my computer.

Bernard has arrived, inserting himself into a dumpster outside Club Exxel. Funny, but his initial introduction occurred in a similar fashion.

I had a similar idea where one of the Aces dumped trash on him while he was sleeping, but I didn't go with it because I didn't know if you were going to start off with having Bernard awake.
BUT... Now that he is awake, and he did get trash dumped on him, I am happy to just play along and see where this road takes us. ;D

So now that the NPC is introduced are you playing the devil's advocate as before and taking control or am I just free forming and playing the part so I can cake walk through the doors and towards the inner circle??

lol. Maybe Bernard can pass for old after he got knocked around and shot at a bit from the night before. Scars can do that to ya.
And besides, when was the last time he took a bath? Perhaps all the dirt wrinkled up his face a little. ;D

Mmm I have an idea, so I think I'll play this one out if you don't mind. I have some ideas for the Aces and Bernard. I was suppose to post last night but I forgot. Sorry about that. I'll get on it now.

I prefer to have somebody the GM so to speak NPC's. Encounters do not always go the way we plan. Keeps the mystery alive.

I dangled a carrot if front of the young girl. Now its time to see where it leads.

Lol I didn't know what you were planning with the drunk hobo act, but I get it now. The carrot is interesting, very interesting. Lets go see if she takes the bait?

Sorry if it seems as if I'm poke-assing around. As it is just the two of us, I wanted to give the sensation of the pair feeling each other out. They have just met. She could be playing his as much as he is playing her. As much as he wants it he does realize once inside things could go horribly wrong.
Denizens of the street would be cautious towards strangers to begin with. Especially with the past history involving the staff of Exxel.

No worries, it makes sense. For all Bernard knows there could be an army of angry gang members waiting inside for him. After drinking and repairing his broken body from the night before, it makes sense why he would be wary of walking into the den of thieves that he stole the items from. Although they don't yet know that it was Bernard that took the vials, I would still be paranoid in dealing with them.

I think the way Bernard just played his cards has won him a bit of favor by playing as the bum that found the vials, instead of walking in as the thief trying to sell the item back to its owner. I'll post my reply in a few hours. I'm about to leave out soon.
