Thank you, Glory. I love e-cakes! Baked and frosted pixels are sooo yummy!
I've signed up for dice log and joined the Heroes vs. Villains log, and I'll post up Kenny's bio in a little bit.
I am not HotNcold. I started to make an account at one point, but then I actually read the Getting Started forum and realized I should wait until I better understood what was going on.
Edit:I posted Kenny's bio. What is the stuff about stealth underneath the black and white picture of her? Is it a suit or a power, and I'm assuming I need to remove it?
It is a suit! called believe it or not a "Stealth Suit" ;D Due to its light bending nature it is able to render the wearer somewhat invisible. ((Think of the camouflage suit in GI Joe or Predator) To represent this aspect he wearer is awarded the stealth skill by default. Kenny without the suit would have no stealth capability as it stands. Suit Default + Stealth Skill Knowledge (one of your 4 choices) would grant a bonus to sneaky. No suit, I would suggest dropping a chosen skill and substitute stealth as Stealth attack is useless without stealth or distraction.
Kenny as portrayed in the profile was more or less a representation from the future of what she can become.
@bernard: Umm, I thought it over. I think you should go on and edit your post in the combat simulator and add a attacking turn. If the other player uses a "disable" move and it fails, you can still attack back. All players get a "Attacking turn and defensive turn"
@kenny: I can now offically welcome you to the site! You can call me Ash. I have no problem killing off my characters, so one day Glory may not exists any more... Ash is better for long term use.
I was going to answer your last question, but Bernard seems to have beat me to the punch. As soon as you are ready we can now start the tutorial. Everything is set up and ready to go! Just make a post introducing your character in the Training grounds topic and we'll go from there. ;D
And since people kept talking about Guitar hero...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

OK, Bernard has finished his MacGyver operations and should be in some reasonable physical condition to make it to Club Exxel. I wanted to reinforce there are repercussions to criminal activity especially as a lone wolf with no established resources. I was thinking he would emerge from his slumber after 24 hours or so which would require a time jump on the day/night tracker which shouldn't be a big deal as it only involves the two of us. I would also be a good time for another premonition dream hinting at some recent events that splinter from his actions if you would like to take care of that aspect. Then its on to the nightclub to introduce himself and play "Let's make a deal"
As for the simulator technically I used my attack for that round against the elite thug, although I don't think you resolved the damage yet. Go back and count each participants attacks, I think you'll see what I am talking about. My phases typically will involve an attack and one or two dodges as I am outnumbered.

pfft I think I see. I'll post with the Enforcer next. Now that the sensitive and Enforcer's turns are spaced apart it will be easier for me to keep track of. To sum it up I spaced the two NPCs apart so that the turns would look like: 1. Enforcer 2. Sandman 3. Sensitive 4. Sandman 5. (Repeat).
Instead of the other way we started the fight with all NPCs going back to back. Sorry for the confusion.
As For the day and night thing, time will continue as normal on Saturday. So you only have to wait two days for morning to come around. I already changed it to night last Saturday so everything is back on track. I still have to make one more uber sized post with Hydra to sum up the event, and then it will be a wrap. I already have the ESP/Visions prepped. They will show you something, but I don't know if it will be of any use...
By the way, nice RP skills. I found the post interesting, and it made sense how he stopped the bleeding and removed the bullet with the use of his powers. Someone will be earning another Rep point soon. ;D
@kenny: Bernard answered your question but I forgot to say that if you want you can remove the Stealth suit and other items from her bio page. As Klikxx said, it was just for reference and is no longer needed.
Hope that clears things up.

If you have any questions you can Email me at: fgheroes@yahoo.com
Wow. Okay, the uber sized post I was talking about was even larger than I had originally thought. So I am breaking it down into parts. So instead of having back and forth posts between multiple news reporting players, I will be playing both the Press and Rycroft. The announcement is so long because this is now the end of the prelude and the start of the actual role play. It has a lot to do with future events and will even tie into Bernard's current story line. In case questions do arise about NPC choices and actions, I'll quickly explain that I write the Press and police reactions out to be very basic because I want players to choose what they think about things without me hinting at what is right or wrong. That way the story can change based on your choices, not mine. So yeah, sometimes the police will act like idiots...
Even if your characters don't attend the Hydra announcement event, it will still be playing on Television and can be read about in the newspaper. So, needless to say this is basic knowledge that all characters will have.

First off, Nice to meet you Ash, and thanks for the cake! Frosting cannibalism = YUM. ^_^ I'm Danyella, though you can call me Kenny, wake, angel or zomby if you like. I'm still not used to responding to Kenny, yet. lol I tend to use the same screen name for what I'm doing. That probably doesn't make sense said like that, but basically, if I'm writing, my account name is usually wakeangel. For creative pursuits (art, music, etc.) it's zombycat. That kind of thing. Weird I know, but it makes my OCD happy. XD
What if I want to keep the suit, though? I like it. C: The character creation thingy says I start with nothing, but you guys keep using indecisive words like 'can' and 'may' and 'if'. Well, if I may, can I keep the stealth suit? XP
I posted in the training grounds. There was talk of doing this training as a flashback, so I assumed time would matter less. There was also talk of intro-ing as finding your trainer and then talking to Glory, but I didn't know who that would be, and Kenny wanted to make a splash anyway, so... ~shrug~ Let me know if I need to make edits, k?
Oh, and I'm curious, are Glory and FG Admin both Ash?
I'm going to be leaving out in a few mins, so I'll get around to posting later in the afternoon. We will be playing the Tutorial out as back story, several years before current time. Based on your bio your character is 19 years old in current time, right? So you can choose how many years prior to the story this is taking place.
I read your tutorial post, I can adjust and work with that, so no need to change anything. ;D
As for the suit, I was thinking that one day Kenny could have it custom made for her. Requesting Hydra Corp. to design the outfit as a "One of a kind" instead of it being out there for everyone. An advanced prototype if you will. I think by earning the suit it will be a fun little goal for you to work towards. It just gives your character something to do for long term.
EDIT: Oops, almost forgot. Yes, we are one and the same. I actually made small notations at the top of all my characters bios in the "Hydra data base", for everyone that I play in game. I play three real characters, and several NPCs. For the most part though I will be playing Non-important story related NPCs for players to interact with.
Okay then. So, in her bio, I'll make a 'wishlist'-type post and put it there for safe-keeping. I probably will edit her abilities a bit then. I'll make sure it's done and posted before I finish training, does that work for you?
Oh, and I don't know if Bernard warned you, but before we get too far into this, I feel I should let you know- my play time is limited. I've got two jobs, full-time school and a family on my plate right now, so my schedule is tight. I will be as active as I can, but if I sometimes leave others waiting a bit for posts, that's why.
The wishlist and skill editing works for me. You can strike one off for every wish that comes true! ;D
And oh boy, you do have a tight schedule! Thanks for the heads up. At the moment there are only three of us, so I don't think either me nor Bernard will mind the wait if you can't post. I may have to adjust the day and night system a bit to work around you guys time schedules, but that is not really a big deal. It is always good to know what the players are doing in real life so I know how to bend and work with them.
