Pfft, it's late. I didn't have a chance to post earlier. I'll get around to it in the morning. As for your other comments about the skills and weapons, I didn't ignore them, just thinking them over. I'm going over how well they work and how effective they will be in the long run so I'm brain storming scenarios in my head. Alright, I'm gonna log off now and get some sleep.

I've passed on an invite who is willing to take on the role of "Kenny". This would allow us an opportunity to switch the venue to Club Exxel fleshing out the setting and characters involved in the underworld.
I would still like to see Kenny with the Mastermind power and turn back the clock so to speak and have her develop and explore character skills. I see Kenny as the innovation behind the rubber bullet gun and the prototype stealth suit she will eventually wear developing these items along the way.
If she is to be an undercover operative placed at Exxel to keep tabs on the "goods" should they fall into the wrong hand she cannot be a green operative fresh out of the academy.
Another person is joining? That's cool. I'll bend the rules about the super powers depending on how they play. The character may not be a green operative, but I would have no way of knowing if the player is a green role player or not. I've known people with good writing skills but bad role playing skills. They didn't know how to stay in character and follow a consistent plot line, and that is very important for this RP's story.
And of course they will also have to take the tutorial. I was going to do a drastic change and have all new members take part in it, but if the invite joins before then they will have to take the basic tutorial that is already in place. We could play their tutorial out where Kenny's training takes place several years before our current story, that way she is already trained and ready for the field. Her tutorial could end with her accepting the mission of going undercover.
Hydra has no problem training children for war, which is why Naida is 19 years old (started training years before that) and is being prepped for the field. If you want to bump Kenny's age up a few years to match the role that would make sense too. As for the experimental items and tech, Hydra is all for developing special items for their operatives. Just have a character request what they need from Jeannette. Er... or Carson if they are at the Underground...

Okay, I know things are getting confusing in the Combat simulator, but I just added a new update so hopefully it will help clear things up. I retyped the battle rules and edited the skills page again, hopefully to make things more clear. My announcement pretty much says the same thing, but if you want to read it you can.
I know you are busy, but when you get the time could you read over both the battle rules and the abilities page. If confusing parts still exists then I will get to work in fixing them.
As for your roll, you added a +10 and asked if it should stay. That all depends on if you are using a skill or item (Or weapon/armor) to create that +10. After reading the updated battle and skill rules let me know if it answers your question. Ask yourself "What is creating the +10?"
I'm trying to explain everything in the rules as thoroughly as possible so that new players don't get confused when they first start out.
I changed the "Getting started" link on the sidebar, so you can follow that link to quickly take you to the rules and skills page.
There will still be small questions, but that is what the tutorial is for...

Don't worry, Mr. Admin, sir. Klikxx wouldn't have invited me if I wasn't kickass in both departments.
And 'Bernard': You know full well, that I meant I could play the hell out of her, you cheeky smart alec. My weekend looks HECTIC, so I'll have to wait till early next week to get set up here, but I look forward to stirring up some (IC) trouble soon!
Woot, you talk! Since you will be joining the site you can assist me as well. As said in my previous post I've made a lot of changes. If you spot out any flaws point them out and I'll get around to fixing them. By next week I should have the new tutorial set up. I'm planning on making it more interactive and in character role play based. I look forward to seeing you officially join the site. ;D
For all I knew you were playing guitar hero at the time of the comment. How's that for cheeky smart alec ?
I tried to tie up the battle portion from Bernard's end. There were a few things that I wanted to cover without simply glossing over the details. The first was he would still have to address the matter of the gunshot wound. Grand theft while lucrative has its downside. The second was his revelation into just what he had just turned his life upside down to acquire. Last was his efforts to escape with the ill-gotten bounty and lead into his exploration of Club Exxell and the underground.

@bernard: Whoa, I think I just spotted some awesome MacGyver skills with that bridge post! Good stuff.
I can see a lot of potential story growth from Bernard's actions. I really wish Dennis or at least Aileana stuck around. I had something planned for Hydra, but oh well.
There are a lot of other places we can go from here, but there is one really good story plot that is sticking out. I think I'm going to use it. I now can't wait for Bernard to talk to Carson to move the story into the next stage. ;D
And I also made some changes to the text and background on the site. Are the letters easier to read? I'm having a hard time seeing some of the font. I wanted to know if it was just me, or if some of the colors are still a bit off?

Haha! CAPTCHA made me enter 'black gold' in order to post. Appropriate, neh?
Bernard, if I could swype and play guitar hero at the same time, I'd take my act on the road. Oh, and I aced my first exam. Yeay me! Oh, and tomorrow's my birthday, so you'd better get a'writin'!
I've registered.
Once I'm approved, I'm assuming I should post up Kenny in my bio and we can go from there, right?
I approved your account. I also sent a PM just to make sure you followed the getting started steps. After you are all signed up on the dice log and everything, we can get started on the tutorial.
And now I have to ask... Are you "HotNcold"? Or was that just some other random person that signed up.
And seeing how tomorrow is your birthday, I'll get you a E-cake! ;D
EDIT: I also approved you for the dice log, so if you sign up you should be able to see the "Heroes vs villains" dice log server. I already read over Kenny's bio, so you can post it up. Just make sure that she doesn't start with any items or equipment. All players start the game with nothing except for the default item storage.
I think that covers everything...
EDIT 2: Almost forgot! I reset the dice log because we had 240 posts in there. I like to keep it under 200 just so that it is easier to read past logs. I backed up all the roll data on my computer. Now that covers everything. Whew...
