The strawberry blonde sketch artist turned her work for Keiko to observe. ”He’s young” She thought taking in as much detail as quickly as possible as she stared into the almond shaped eyes of the dark haired killer.
Her focus was interrupted as the young woman behind the picture spoke.
”"I think I know you... I've seen You before. You were there when the wall fell and the Consumers attacked the police station, correct? I was there that night. I wasn't much help though, they moved me and the other civilians down to the jail cells for safety." The sketch artist said matter-of-factly as she adjusted her glasses once more.
”I was there.” Keiko replied confirming the connection. ”One of many that fought to hold the precinct. Too many good officers were lost that day. I was one of the fortunate to survive although I did manage a souvenir as a reminder of that evening” She stated boldly holding up her augmented limb.
"Are you the detective that is working this case?" She asked as she stared at the detective with an intense look.
”Not any longer I’m afraid. I’m indefinitely chained to that desk over there...." (~she pointed~)"……At least until I’m willing to play by Carlyle’s rules. I just stopped by to satisfy my curiosity as I stretch my legs for a moment. Thought maybe that sketch might spark some memory regarding the perp.”
” We really don’t have much on this guy. At least there is something we can follow up on now.” Keiko gazed about the room looking for Carlyle. ”Well I should get back to my desk. That pile of paper work I was left to file isn’t going to do itself.”
Before she left she turned slighly to the dark haired man sitting across from the sketch artist.
”And thank you for coming forward, sir.” Keiko flashed a smile as she extended the courtesy to the middle aged witness who came forward. ”Perhaps your work here will help us finally nab this menace.”
She appeared to be leaving when she turned back to issue a question.
”So…….how did you manage to get a glimpse of this guy without his mask?”
