I'm starting to hate my internet... I lost my post. I'll make it quick then. You don't have to wait a long time, you can post within the same day. Once you make a post saying you rested, you can make a double post saying you work up. In my last RP all my members confirmed it was best to sleep on Friday of night time, to wake of Saturday of morning time. Check here: fgheroes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=story&thread=8&page=1#12
I'm tired so if something isn't right in there I'll fix it in the morning. You can get to that post by clicking the "Sun/moon" pic on the left sidebar.
And yeah, buying a phone would be a good idea, and maybe a basic weapon depending on what direction you are taking Aileana in. Or a computer. She is a hacker right?

I have an idea about the random crime system. This will also fix the problem of not getting paid enough money:
News reporters: Get a base pay of $100 +$30 for every crime or event that they write about. (This is already in place from the start of the RP. The blelow will now operate the same way)
Police: Have a base pay of $150 +30 for every crime they stop, or event that they are apart of.
Operatives: Have a base pay of $200 and will get +30 for every crime they stop or event that they are apart of.
This will help to encourage players to stop more crimes and be apart of story events. But it will Not count as a team effort if two separate job divisions are within the same place at the same time stopping the same crime. For example a operative and a police officer are both stopping the same crime, whoever gets the final blow and subdues/kills the villain, will get the bonus paycheck. But if two officers are working together to stop the crime, then both officers will get the bonus paycheck.
It will create a competitive atmosphere between the different job types, while encouraging teamwork within the same job fields.
And I finally know who I want the Mayor to be for the city.... ;D

That was thoughtful of you Ash to honor me with such distinction. How did you know Bernard had aspirations to become Mayor?? I don't know how I will be able to fit it all in given my other proposed illicit activities but I shall do my best to serve the people of Osiris faithfully.
Bernard wouldn't last a day as Mayor. I can imagine it now, Bernard in a small office surrounded by books and papers, the window was now broke and wouldn't be fixed until next week making the small space hot and stuffy. And Bernard couldn't leave the office until he finished the mountain of paper work on his desk. Just then the secretary walks in with another mountain of paper and sets it in front of him. The next day the city is destroyed because Bernard had a nuclear melt down and blew the office up... ;D
No, I'm just kidding. I will fill the role of Mayor in with a NPC, but I will leave it open where players can run for Mayor as a event in the future. So perhaps one day Bernard will run the city. *cue dramatic music* Dun, dun, duuunnnnnnn!

@bernard/Dave: Okay I got an idea. Since you said Bernard's training was a flash back image, lets assume Bernard has been moving around from place to place to dodge Hydra and keep a low profile. Want to role play it out where he is now leaving one hiding place to buy an apartment as his new hideout? That way it makes it seem like he didn't always have it, and he wasn't just sitting around in the same place all this time. If my calculations are right, 1 Year in our time will be about 1 month in RP time (Give or take a few days).
So if he stayed in the apartment for 2 months, that still would make sense. He wouldn't have to move again for a long time.
Also, about super powers, you may use them whenever you want, it doesn't always have to be in battle. I'm letting you know this so that you can practice your skills in your room, or walking down the street (even though power usage is illegal). That way you can train your powers up faster. Double posting is allowed within your Apartment rooms, so that would be the best place to train (Just don't burn the building down).
I was initial thinking of having Bernard a citizen of the streets bearing no real fixed address or location. I wasn't planning on an actual dwelling until he was reintegrated with society after a few initial dealings with Carsen. I have a few ideas I'm kicking around but nothing concrete at the moment. Maybe Carsen should make a large donation to my little tin cup and we'll talk business. That is once Bernard sobers up.

@dave: "Citizen of the streets"? I can't help it, I might start calling him "Hobo Dan". But I shall resist. Sure thing, Carson will take notice. Have him stop by Club Exxel and we'll get things started. Once Carson sees what he can do, he'll make some plans in helping Bernard out. I think I have a pretty good idea. Things are going to get a bit complicated.
@flickery: Where have you gone? You are so close to finishing. This is the last few posts! If you happen to read this, you may also go on and roll for your weakness. Jared will be free to roam the streets after he finishes things with Powerflux.
I Just got a really awesome idea for Jared!!! I wonder if he will accept it...

Ahaha, yeah, Thanks. I now know what skin you use! MUAHAHAHA!
Its been hurting my eyes for a while now but I never got around to changing it. The yellow on the "Heroes' skin is hurting my eyes and I've been playing around with changing it. So far I'm happy with the new font for the villain's skin, I'll get around to fixing small problems located around the site when I feel like it. I still don't know what color the links should be for the heroes, but whatever...
In other news I've been working on a new project. I've been trying to perfect my writing skills, so my goal has been to write better fight scenes. I just got owned today in the battle arena on RPGW. It was good practice. I also learned a lot from our fight with Glory and Lewis, so thanks for the fight. I now know a bit better in how to prep for moves and how to trap my opponent with words. I think that is a good skill for writing books because it keeps the reader on the edge of their seat.
I'm going to keep doing several more fights until I get good at it. I think I'll enter the next Grassroots tournament. So I have two years to get good at it... yay... So, anyone else thinking of entering too?
I know Dave is (AKA: Bernard). I've been reading some of his posts to see how he writes. Congratz on the win, that was a nice move to finish off the dragon slayer.

Might wanna prod ProBoards to see what's going on with the post disappearances; I lost my second post now XD. I'll be replying in a little while now, and I'll be sure to copy them now before posting. If they don't do jack, maybe an announcement to refer to later on?
Might enter the next tourney, I dunno. Need to refurbish those empty characters.
