Yeah it was clear that it was on the cheek, I understood. It was still funny and awkward. I wonder what I would do if some random guy I just met shook my hand and tried kissing me on the cheek. Boy would that be uncomfortable! LOL. Aileana sounds like everyone else that works at Hydra, so I don't think that is a problem. It's cool to see a unique character that's not a cliche of so many others I've seen. I like that you are stepping out the box.
And sorry about the long walls of text. I do it just to see if I can. Long story short, it used to take me about three days just to write 150 words... I've been working on fixing that problem. I kinda hate writing, but it is the only way to share your thoughts with other people without having to verbally speak it. So yeah, most of my posts are going to have long walls of texts while I work on my writing skills.
I'm pretty used to writing 300-400ish words for a post, sometimes longer when I was GM, no worries there. You know I was just thinking-- what'll happen when this picks up? I'm seeing it could get a tad hectic, you know? Everyone flying around from here to there, and getting on cabs, going on bikes, looking to talk to NPCs. Maybe I'm thinking too much, I just got curious.
Aw, good. Where I came from before some people complained that the posts were starting to get a bit too long, but I'm trying to work on making my writing style to be more descriptive. You were a GM? Was it on role play gateway or did you make your own site?
Anyways, I agree with you, things will get hectic. I'm hoping that is what will happen. If more members join, or the current ones make more characters, my own characters will take a step to the side lines, and I'll just focus on story events and doing admin stuff because it would be too hard trying to do both.
At the moment I haven't used the random crime system yet because there would be no one to stop them. But if there were more people, there would be constant fights going on, cats being saved from trees, car chase scenes, and grandmas being rescued from burning buildings. There would also be a lot of driving back and forth in cars and such. It would be chaotic, but I think it would also be crazy of fun. ;D
Oh yes, and I'm also stalling a bit. On the left sidebar it says the event started, but I kinda wanted either Bernard or Jared to also be present to see it take place. We may have to stretch our conversations out a little bit until next week so that at least one other person will be involved.

In total of Online role plays that I have done, I would have to say that I've only been in about three myself. I was in a dimensional jumping RP, a Splinter cell RP that pretty much died the day I joined, and fantasy adventure RP that my sister and I made. Everything else was done in real life either verbally or small pen and paper style ones (I've done a ton of those).
And I think I'll have the event take place in the evening of day two, that should give the others a bit of time to get out of the tutorial area and buy some equipment... If Aileana wants, she can do the same and buy some gear for her new job before it takes place.
Alright, and I need a bit of help. When you get the time could you read over the Life in Osiris rules again. Just the Skill point part though. I edited the SP rules and I need to know if it makes more sense this time around. My goal is to keep editing it down to the point where someone can read it and not have to ask questions. It makes sense to me, but I need to know if everyone else understands it the way I do.

Here's the way I see it. You're not specifying if sensitives get a 10/10 counter on human skills or also a 20/20, nor whether all sensitive abilities share the same SP counter. Also it might be a little confusing starting out with 0/20 and having the SP left being the counter that increases... What I mean is, maybe it could work like this:
You start out with 1/1 SP, successfully use a skill and end up with 0/2 SP. After resting, you wake up with 2/2 SP, afterwards a successful skill would leave you on 1/3 SP, then 0/4 SP. After resting you'd be 4/4 SP, when 3/5, 2/6... Etcetera.
Another doubt is do humans get a permanent +10 to their skill rolls? Which could cause balancing issues against sensitives: they only get two +10 to their ability rolls before running out of juice.

Your way with the counter makes more sense. I'll edit it to that. I'm trying to cut down on words and make it understandable, so I'll have to take the time out to fix it and retype it. All sensitives skills are 20/20, even the human ones. So I need to go make that more clear. I may just have to break this all down and put it in the Getting started "Humans VS senstives" topics, instead in the rules page. That way I can tell how the skills work for both of them in two separate ways so that it isn't so confusing.
I've also been thinking that perhaps there should be two separate counters for sensitive powers, one for each super power to give them two 20/20 counters (Total of 40). I know that is a lot of power, but as players get stronger I think they are going to need the extra rolls for what I am planning for a future event.
Argh, my brain hurts. I'm trying to think. Humans will get a permanent +10 bonus to their rolls if they are at max level, it won't divide like sensitives. I don't think it will cause an unbalance because sensitives get 50 extra HP, plus their armor and super powers. Humans get weapons and armor too, but I think it will even out with the new two power bonuses for sensitives. I see your logic though, I'll get to work on fixing it all.
I'm trying to do it now at the start of the RP so that when important parts roll around we don't run into these issues... If you see any other flaws point them out so I can get to work on fixing them. Sometimes the ideas I see in my head don't always come out the way I want them to.

I'd personally vote in favor of the counters for every ability, as that'd balance the few rolls you get if you add too much to it, and adds realism to their use. Why should I quit shooting lightning bolts if all I did was run fast? Y'know?
Another doubt, do sensitives have their skill SP deplete? Or do they get a permanent +20? It might make sense for ALL skills to have a maximum of +10 and only abilities to have +20 Anyhow, the thread might look a bit like:
Sensitives: - 150HP - Maximum counter of 20 SP for each ability and skill (or just +10 for skills?) (with skills being for humans/sensitives and abilities being for sensitives only), maximum of 2 skills/2 abilities - Can't buy certain pieces of equipment
Humans: - 100HP - Maximum counter of 10 for skills, maximum of 4 skills, SP does NOT deplete and the +X bonus is permanent. - Access to all equipment under the right conditions

I'm editing Everything right now. I thought to check back to see if you replied, and it turned out you did. I may have to take a break and think this through over night. I think I want all sensitive skills to be +20, but that causes a huge disruption with the balance scales. Because then we would either have to subtract the use of how many times they can use their normal human skills, or they always roll +20s, and if they get such a high bonus with normal combat moves then why use your super powers? So I have to work that out. I may agree with you and knock it down to +10. Aileana would then lose her massive +20 bonus though for computer skills, but that adds the purpose for rolling that ability in the super power list.
I cut out everything dealing with SP in the Rules page because I realized it was an inaccurate duplicate of the one posted in the humans VS sensitives page. Bleh, so much to fix. I think I've almost got it down. I'm going to be cutting words down so that it is easier to read, but so far this is what I've changed it to: New SP page. The more I read over my own rules the more it made no sense to me. LOL. This will be my new project, so I'll be editing it from time to time until I get it right.
Keep the ideas coming, I'll use all the good ones to help fix the site.
The way Safi has described the super power counter was much the way I had visualize it as well.
One thing to keep in mind as a balancing factor to all the skill bonuses that a Sensitive receives is the weakness confribution. There are some pretty devastating negatives that can be acquired here and some are constant effects. The -10 to life skills for some of these weaknesses would essentially mean you have the same skill as an untrained lackey if things are change to a max of 10 for both humans and sensitives.
