Keep in mind that Sensitives are the same as humans, they just have two less ability slots (and a health bonus)...
Not all sensitives will be combat warriors, just like not all humans will be combat soldiers. I guess it depends on if you are building a character like a tank.
The standing attack bonus does sound like a good idea, but I still have a problem with it. I guess I should explain that I am basing the powers off of experience, not only in role playing but in MMO games as well. When players get to the max level (no matter what game it is) they have a habit of developing what I like to call the "Goku complex". It means that they feel that they don't need help from anyone else and they feel like they are the only one that can save the day. In other words, they become solo fighters.
In the cartoon Dragon ball Z, no one could defeat the main bad guy until Goku arrived in the battle, or Goku was revived from the dead. Everyone else in the show felt expendable.
I want Sensitives and humans to both rely on teamwork so that they can't always go around soloing. They should be able to take on a small army of weak humans, but anything higher then rank 7 should require some form of assistance to help you win the battle, especially for what I am planning for a later event. That way a group of five senstives battling a group of five humans would have to use strategy and team work to win, and not just spam their strongest attacks. I want them to have the strength to overpower humans, but only if they use their abilities correctly. That way we don't have a bunch of players attempting to gain "one hit kills".
I will consider the D20 power dice system for rolling how strong you are. But I still like the fact that their SP subtracts, so that if they get tired and lose energy not only will it require them to sleep, but it also means that if you keep fighting all day long you will eventually need back up...
PS.
I haven't been making mistakes with the roll dice! >
It turns out that the numbers change! I saw it happen. If my internet is lagging (or perhaps their roll dice server?) it will roll one number (lets say a 96), and after about 5 mins the number will change to an 82 after the automatic refresh!
It doesn't do it all the time, but I think it might be a glitch where it rerolls the number. >.>
