First of all, I am also voting for Dennis to hunt down Bernard. His rolls are just so awesome! Gosh, your luck is just amazing. And Bernard's rolls so far have been spot on. That was same fancy weaving on that motorbike of yours.
Which is why the pair would be perfect for each other. The clueless detective that misses everything, and the villain that leaves no trance of evidence.
On that note, Can a felon be really be "tracked down" with one lucky (successful) search roll??
I do have the light rain on my side rolling in to corrupt the evidence.
Nah, it doesn't work like that. This is also a Mystery RP site. The "Detective" will have to follow a chain of clues in order to solve the case. The first clue might be a person calling in about hearing gun shots. The detective would then go to the area to look around. If the search roll is a success, they may find something like a shell casing that had rolled out onto the street. They would then have to keep doing search/observation rolls until they find the dead body in the alley. Even so, there is no evidence at the crime scene to who committed the murder (because Bernard was not hurt on scene, and he had a helmet on).
Even with witnesses, this would lead to an on going case of cat and mouse.
@dennis: ROFL! I would watch that version of CSI! The logic of how he solves the case makes all the sense in the world. ;D
And I think I'm going to do something a bit random. I want to see how your character will react. Don't worry though, for what I am planning you shouldn't die from it. You'll be supplied with what you need to get out alive. I just want to see what a person would do if they were unexpectedly placed in this situation...
@ Dennis: Ahaha. I doubt you'll die. Besides, there is always Hydra's life insurance plan... Have you ever seen the movie "Repo men?"
@bernard: Oh cool you made Gabriel's crossing. Saves me a bit of time in trying to explain to everyone where to post next, I think now it is a bit obvious.
And you got a picture! I love it. Awesome job. It matches what I had in mind because it is all smooth and "Hydra" looking. Based on how everyone is posting, I think for the most part they have a clear vision of how the city looks and operates. Which is a good thing.
All the peices are almost in place, then we can start playing our little game. And once everyone is in place, we can all start running wild! yay.... ;D
I should have informed you before had Glory but I won't be posting tonight, I've just had a pretty hardcore game of Pathfinder (Tabletop RPG) and I'm pretty much dead to the world
Oi, I don't feel so great. I was just in a car accident earlier, so no posting for me. I'm alright, it was nothing serious, but I am a bit tired. I think I'll go to sleep early today.

@jared: Yeah, yesterday wasn't so great. The car got messed up a bit on the front and back ends, but no one was hurt. The guy that hit us didn't even have a proper license. The car still runs but it makes a strangr hissing sound from the front end, that part that looks like a vent. I don't know what it is that is making the sound because the hood of the car is jammed shut. It buckled from the impact and now it can't open.
Anyways, I'm going to wait for Aileana to post with Bennett before posting again with Jared. I need Bennett and Aileana to be a bit closer to the transport truck before I can trigger the next scene. So while we wait we'll just have to chat in here.
I have a question though, when you play your Table top RPGs, is it more or less complex than this one? Like, do you have to roll in the same way for skills, attacking moves and all of your equipment bonuses? I've never played table top RPG games before so I don't really know what they are like. But I used that system as a base for my RPs combat and life skills.
My older sister and I play Baldur's gate 2 (the computer game), and the game came with a D&D rule book. It was from that rule book that the battle and skill system came about. So I was just curious if it was easy going from a table top game to this RP.

The rules for combat here for far more simple than the likes of D&D and the D20 system but you can find some pretty simple systems out there like the Unisystem which is more cinematic than the D20 ruleset and flows so much more smoothly.
I feel like abit of a tit rambling on. (And more than likely not making sense)
I would like to end this comment with a recommendation to try D&D or some sort of tabletop RPG. The creative story telling environment created among friends (or strangers depending where you game) is really thrilling and not to mention the ability to increase logical puzzle solving skills and also your social skills.
