I added some new street names to the world map to help make the city feel a bit more complete. They are important and will come in handy in the future. You can read all of the street names by using the right sidebar and clicking on the map button.
In case there are any new members out there looking to join us, Bernard and I have been talking over the SP power system and it might go through some changes soon. I will post a new update when the new system is complete.

A lot of the following updates were suggested by Bernard, thanks for the suggestions!
I updated the resting and fatigue system so that resting now heals 10 HP for one FG day. I updated the SP system and change the name from "Skill points" To "Special points". The word "skill" seemed confusing because it made it sound like humans had SP, which is not the case. You can read more about the Fatigue system in the Day tracker and Fatigue system page (click the Sun/Moon picture on the left) located in the World of Former Glory board.
I have updated the Special points system to add levels and experience points so that it takes longer to get stronger. The system is not 100% complete yet, but I should have it finished by next week. You can learn more about the SP and level system by going to the Getting Started board and reading the Humans VS Sensitives page.
I have also changed the rules for the ESP-900 glove so that it now gives the Focus skill, you can read more about the glove in Hydra's Armory and Club Exxel's Underground.
I have updated the rules for the Focus skill so that players must roll in an attempt to obtain the skill, failure will result in the player not gaining the skill, you can learn more about Focus in the Skills and Abilities page located in the Getting started board.
I have updated the VBS serums to include more detail about how they work and their effects. I also changed the Yellow combat booster VBS serum so that it no longer works on Sensitives, so it is a Human only combat booster. The reason for this is because Sensitives now have other bonuses to make them stronger and I wanted to give humans another edge in combat. I have also changed the wording to the VBS serums because it was not correct. The original wording said that you had to take more than 2 to overdose, I tried to clarify that a total of 3 VBS serums had to enter your system to overdose you. You can read more about this in Hydra's Hospital and Lab.
At the moment a few of the combat and SP rules look really complicated, so I will go through and retype it all to simplify it all down. A lot of this is a work in progress, so keep that in mind. If there is something you don't understand just ask and I will try to explain it in simpler terms for you.

I updated the new Reputation system, also called "Karma" on most other sites. The new system is used to grant players with a free dice Reroll to help them be more successful. So if you get a crappy roll you now have a chance to roll again for something better. You can read about the new system in the Getting Started board's Life Rules page.
I'm still working on the SP system, so hopefully I'll have everything mentioned in the previous post completed soon. If you find any grammer or spelling errors anywhere on the site please point them out and I will go fix them. Also there are a few broken links floating around, so if you spot any of those out please let me know so I can fix those as well.
The SP system is now 100% finished! I typed out all of the rules. For those of you that are too lazy to read over the Getting Started Human VS Sensitive rules, I'll sum it up here. Players now have EXP, when the EXP number reaches its designated limit you will gain one SP. You earn 1 EXP from successful power rolls, and 0.5 EXP from failures. The point of this system is to slowly progress your super powers over time, while still rewarding you for your efforts.
Because humans are human they will not use the EXP system because their skills have a set limit. I have to give our member Bernard credit because we talked a lot of this over through PM to try and come up with a system that worked.
I have also updated the Counter Attack Skill and the Agility skill. Failing the skills now results in the player using their failed chance roll as their defense, however that roll will be divided by two and cut in half. So if a player rolled a 40 on the dice log for counter attack, their defense roll would be 40/2=20. That way the player still has a severe consequence but they also still have a chance to defend. I have to give my brother credit for that system because he suggested to simplify things by dividing the existing number in half.

I have updated the site and changed the EXP rules. I didn't like that failures gave 0.5 EXP so I removed it. The only way to gain EXP is by completing missions, winning battles, and using powers successfully.
I have updated the travel rules to include the prices for traveling by Taxi and Bus, it is now located with all the other travel rules. Before the Taxi prices were located on the Streets of Osiris page but it made more sense to keep it all together in the Travel rules.
And the Last and final update I made was for the REP points, they are now called Karma again. The reason for this was because certain areas of the site still said Karma and I couldn't change the text, so to keep it all consistent I just made it say Karma across the board.

I added the Greasy Spoon fast food joint and the Motel to the city map. Now at the moment these locations don't have their own topic, so treat the Fast food place as the shopping district, and the motel will be in the Apartment complex. When I get the time I will rename the board of the Apartments to something like "Player Residence", and have it where players can buy a house, rent an apartment, or stay in a motel all in the same topic.
That way anything dealing with sleeping and living somewhere will be in the same topic.

I updated the Focus skill so that it now explains that you simply roll twice and add both rolls together when using it outside of combat. So in other words, the skill works the same way outside of combat as it does inside of combat.

As the title says, Proboards is upgrading to their new version 5 and this update will change a lot of the code and the way the site functions. This change is taking place between the end of April or the End of May.
I am going to make some new back up codes for all of the headers and footers just in case something breaks, but they claim everything will transfer over smoothly- including all of our forum posts and code.
In case anything does break, report it in the heroes lounge and make a list of all the problems you found and I will get around to resolving the issues.
You have probably noticed the "IMPORTANT NOTICE" posted at the top of the website, I highly recommend you write down your account name and Password for all of your characters so that when the change does happen you can re-validate your accounts without any problems.
Follow the Proboard instructions to complete this process.
Hopefully the update will take place smoothly without us having any problems, but I am making preparations just in case to be on the safe side.

I have updated the focus skill so that it is more specific that players cannot focus a skill and use the skill within the same turn, you can either charge or attack, not both. This goes for out of combat as well.
I have also changed the rules for the Synthetic mind enhancement to explain that it gives you all skills labeled under "Knowledge" in the skills list.
I have also updated a few of the items in the general store so that they give a bigger subdue bonus. A few of the items in Hydra Corp. and the Underground have not been changed yet but I will get around to it soon.
For now that is all.

I put a small note in the Travel rules because I don't see the point of them anymore. If we had more players I would have kept it, but since there are only two of us playing right now I am removing some of it.
SP and Taxi costs will remain, but doing multiple posts to reach locations is no longer necessary because it takes up too much time and we don't have it to get posts it.
So just subtract SP and money and teleport to the next location.
