I didn't put the die rolls into the top of the post but I used the effects to a point. My work day bit me on the ass and I wanted to get the idea up. The point of the rolls was wether or not Bernard would arrive in time to eaves drop on Bianca's thoughts. Since he had trouble with positive rolls I had him lose Bianca in the crowd and the courier prevailed Given the rolls he arrived but was not in a "prime" position to get a clear read. He will likely only retrieve part of the reporter's thoughts.
Several times he thought he had spotted Bianca amid the pack only to lose her in surging throng of reporters as the two public figures departed. As luck would have it the courier somehow managed navigate the thick swarm making the delivery before Bernard was in position.
Bianca had opportunity to ask her follow up questions as the exchange took place after the two public figures departed.
EDIT: How does Powerflux get a +15 ATK bonus and and +10 DEF Bonus??? (see profile)
Bianca had opportunity to ask her follow up questions as the exchange took place after the two public figures departed.
If Bianca had time to ask all her questions I would have had a 2000 word long post about why Hydra was doing what they were doing and why the Mayor would go along with it. Having Bernard's courier interrupt seemed like a good way to get Bianca's attention off of Rycroft's announcement and onto something else. I was also contemplating having Rycroft do something else, but decided against it...
And Powerflux doesn't operate entirely on the RP's rules because he has equipment and enhancements that can't be obtained from in the game. He was created about 14 years ago, so I just kept him as is instead of using the random power system or the RP's armor/weapons. He is my Super Admin wildcard. Since he is one of the Getting started instructors I had to make him stronger than everyone else in case a student that started the game decided to kill everyone in Hydra corp. when starting out. Glory is also a trainer, but what if she dies while fighting a villain or something? I recently edited Glory's stats to reflect the items sold in store, but I kept Flux the same to keep order in the tutorial zone.
EDIT: Had to edit Glory's stats again. I forgot to adjust them after I changed the armor stats.

Bianca's reactions were interesting although one aspect either fell through the cracks or came as no surprise already knowing the article was banned. To me the envelope containing the "lost" articles was the key.
"Written in the year: 2050. First Draft of Banned news report." Opening it contains the following information:
the first thing I found odd with the envelope was the way it was dated "Written in the year: 2050" It was as if it was packaged at a later date referencing the original material inside. The second was the word "banned". If she did have knowledge the article was shelved you would think there would be more negative emotion associated with the original silencing. Something (the silencing) I don't think that would have been easily accepted given her apparent fire. I did come away with a useful tidbit though just not what was expected. We shall see what stage two reveals as Bernard begins to piece this together

That is true, the person who put it in the envelope was not the same person that wrote it. This is a story related document, so more will be revealed later.

It was written (and almost completed) 5 years ago, so a lot of the initial emotions of losing her document has since passed. And because it was written 5 years ago, she has moved on to other more important projects. Upon seeing the document it was more of a mix of joy and confusion. Kinda like you lose everything stored on your computer, and then 5 years later you somehow find out that all of your lost family photos were recovered and saved. Any anger you felt when you first lost everything should be gone by now, and instead it will be more of relief knowing that what you lost was now found.
The confusion comes in with who took the document in the first place, and then who decided to send it to her. Other then that, Bianca now has a "meeting" with Carson. She is very happy about that. I wonder how that will go...
Stage two? So the plot continues to grow. What are you up to now mister Bernard?

I see where you were going, but if your "creation" was "destroyed" and not simply "abducted" those images, considered lost or not would stir strong emotions. She may have moved on out of necessity but the pain would still be there
I just realized the police station is right across the street from the bank! What the heck... Lets blame it on the weather. Yeah, that is why it took the police so long to arrive during the crime...
Anyways. I based both Naida and Bianca to be more "Happy go lucky go-getter" type characters that always looks on the brighter side of things. At the moment Naida hasn't been able to show that though being so busy with work and all... But I wanted Bianca to be more jolly and have the attitude of "Let the past stay in the past. There is always a happy tomorrow" type of attitude. I chose that Actress to be Bianca because on the show "Firefly" she was always so jolly and positive. It will take a bit more than a few lost pieces of paper to get her worked up.
If Bernard was looking for a more dramatic sad or angry attitude towards the situation, maybe he should go find Bennett. Now he is all but exploding with suppressed emotions and angry thoughts.
All I'm saying is I thought she would be more taken back by the fact her written work was banned or at least by who would do such a thing. The package was actually just to get her to go push Carson's button's and stir the pot. Anything else I gleaned before hand was just a bonus.
This abolishing the Rogue hero act could well be a blessing in disguise. Every Hero wanna-be that didn't make it to Hydra's standards will now be taking to the streets. The more sensitive activity the harder it will be to distinguish the Black Flame from the masses.
EDIT: Don't kid yourself. It's a great suggestion. You should implement it
Oh I think I see where you are going. But the document being banned would only be a surprise for those that weren't there when it happened... You are assuming that she was unaware of the ban. As said in my previous post:
The confusion comes in with who took the document in the first place, and then who decided to send it to her.
He still has some work to do in gathering information...

Very true. It will be a lot of chaos on the streets for both the superheroes and the police department. They will now have their hands full trying to stop all those other vigilantes and Sensitive criminals running amok... Which brings us to our next event!
Arrrgggghhhhh What a DAY!! There now that I have that off my chest I can move on. I can't wait for Carlyle to return to find Naida dozing off in a chair when she doesn't have any of the answers he was looking for. Especially after the morning's conversation when she wasn't at the current crime scene left by Bernard. Did she even make it to the bank???
And Naida has done a lot of work with all of the texting, napping, and having Nathan get the Hydra information off of the computer for her. Does the police station count? That is near the bank... She has accomplished a lot. Don't judge her!
