@bernard- Normally we talk in PM but I'll post here because it makes the site look active. I just read your post, but I'm not going to reply just yet because I want to know if Bernard fled the scene.
Based on your post you left it open for Naida's response. If Bernard is still around Naida is going to have a lot of questions for him. Bernard just shared a lot of information.
I was trying not to influence your decision, but I wanted to ask so bad "Why not just walk over and take the mask off?" But it looks like you did it anyways.
EDIT: I'll post anyways. If Bernard left he left, if he didn't than he will hear what she has to say.
EDIT 2: I think I need to add "Reckless" as one of Naida's personality traits. I think she earned it.

I won't go in detail, but I have actually been building this conclusion up for some time now. I'll link back to the posts one day and put them all in chronological order for you to read them correctly.
When I originally wrote the posts the things she did probably didn't make sense or stand out at the time. After all the posts are in order though, you'll understand how she came to this conclusion.
My next post at Hydra will probably clear up a lot of it.

What no power rolls? Were we afraid with all those high results in the dice log lately failure was emmanant? A 60% chance of extending Naida's evening plus the involvement of the OPD to risky? Too many inconsistencies for Hydra to cover up at that point?
Not like she has any illeagle equipment in her posession ~Cough police scanner~ ;D
It's alright Naida, run to mama.
on the note of mysterious no-rolls Bernard and the stun cuffs, Roll or no roll against subdue? I chose no roll as he was still above the 60 hp benchmark
Naida only had 3 SP left and with the travel rules there is no need to roll for it, you just deduct the SP. She didn't want to stick around to try and explain all the dead bodies (although she never really noticed the Vile Shark thug). I bet Hydra could have busted her out of jail though....
As for the stun cuffs, based on your post it sounded like he only cuffed the one dislocated arm. If you want to roll for it just for fun, go for it. But I don't think it is necessary because he should have the key to the cuffs and one free arm to unlock himself.

Imagine that! After all this time I learned something new. SP travel is expensive. Even after all this time Bernard can barely fly from one side of the city to another without depleating his power. Best start the getaway when the SP counter reaches 10
And to think I wasted the roll of 97
Sorry no post Waiting for my phone to ring

I believe at one point back when we started I had the system setup where you just had to roll, but because the roll dice likes acting up we would never be able to power travel. Imagine Superman failing a roll as he goes to fly and instead goes crashing into the ground. That would be embarrassing.
But I'm pretty sure that is why you were used to rolling.
I think I changed it about two or three months ago to the new SP traveling system. It should be in the News and Updates page somewhere. It costs a lot of SP energy, but you get to arrive to your location faster without having to call a taxi. Which is more important- money or SP?
Traveling is hard now, but just imagine when you have 50 points. Bernard will be able to fly everywhere and still have enough power to burn down the city! ;D
In case I forget Bernard has eaten a snack and rested, his fatigue should be cured.
And why the heck does his ESP fail at the weirdest of times? I have to get creative with this one because I'm not sure what exactly will happen here. I think you are starting to see why I don't want such drastic consequences for some of the failed dice rolls and why I am trying to balance things out. It seems we ALWAYS fail!
I think I have an idea on how to play this out though. This failed ESP roll will simply be story related...
As for Naida, I had said her next post would explain her reaction a bit more, but I think I will build up to it first. A thought crossed my mind about a few events that were supposed to happen but our characters were delayed and didn't get to them in time.
I need to point out the consequences for our characters not showing up to their scheduled meetings. This will be very interesting...

It wasn't the fact that it was a failure but a critical failure which usually wipes out your SP total. Couldn't let that happen so early in the day. Thus I would use a reroll. I could live with a straight failed attempt even in the event of using the karma. The SP total is too important.
