Day the wall fell down...
News reporter 1: "We interrupt the regular broadcast to bring you breaking news. There has been what we believe to be a large scale terrorist attack in the downtown slums district. A large explosion was reportedly heard that shook the entire city. Several streets have collapsed and damage is severe. Officials say to stay indoors and to remain calm while they restore order and aid those in need. Eye witnesses have reported that Hydra was on the scene in the south-west corner of the shopping district, raiding the infamous nightclub, EXXEL. It is unclear about the developments of that raid, but sources report that the raid did not go as planned, and the recent events could be a direct connection to that. We will have more information as developments unfold..."
Later that day...
News reporter 1: "This is Sky copter one, reporting live on the scene. The wall to District Zero has fallen and some strange yellowed-eyed people are ravaging through the streets. We see gang activity and riots all throughout the city, burning buildings, and chaos. The police force looks to be completely overwhelmed. If you are in the government district or the shopping district, get out while you still can! Remain indoors, lock up, and protect your loved ones!"
The next day...
News reporter 1: "The police have found several dead bodies, Hydra is a mess and there seems to be no survivors...
There is massive damage and thousands of casualties. The police station took the blunt of the attack. This is probably one of the worst events in the city's history..."
News reporter 2: "...Police authorities are currently investigating the cause of the attack and the extent of the damage...
Sources have leaked documents to the public to suggest that Hydra was behind the attacks, some type of an experiment designed to create super soldiers gone horribly wrong....
The Wylde Aces seem to be behind the attacks of the explosions and the collapse of the main streets...
An investigation has shown that the tunnels were flooded, and so far there seems to be no survivors..."
One week later...
News reporter 1: "Good evening, my name is Duncan Bear, and with me is my co-host, Sybil Nasir." The two reporters were sitting at a large round desk, with several other figures sitting around them. The lights were currently dimmed down to only focus on the two news reporters at the moment.
News reporter 1: "We are here today to discuss the state of Osiris city, and the tragic events that have transpired in the past few weeks. Here at the Daily Chronicle, we would just like to extend our heartfelt sympathies for those that have lost loved ones and have had to endure these tragic times."
News reporter 2: "That's right Duncan. With us this evening is Hydra's chief PR representative, Kip Leuan, who was saved from the massacre for having the day off. He was lucky to be at home with his loved ones, and was able to escape the events unharmed."
Hydra representative: The man was of Asian descent and gave a simple not of his head. "Yes thank you. Fortunately a small number of us were not on duty that day. I was very fortunate indeed."
The reporter continued. "We're glad to have you. Joining us as well is Mayor Ronson and the chief of police... Murphy?"
Chief Murphy: "Just Murphy will be fine." he replied flatly.
News reporter 2: "And finally, joining the round table will also be city council member Alex McNickles, representing the people of Osiris. Let's start with Hydra and the events that has transpired with their experiments and the District Zero wall. Why should we trust them, and should they be allowed to continue to operate after everything that has happened?"
City council member: "Absolutely not. The events that has happened in the past few months was an absolute disaster. Do you know how many lives were lost? Hydra is out of control and needs to be shut down. PERIOD!"
Hydra representative: "The events that has taken place over the past several weeks would have happened regardless. Honestly speaking, we helped to soften the blow by keeping control and escorting those in need to a safe location. If Hydra was not on the scene, the entire city would have burned down. The Sensitives are growing more powerful by the day, someone has to keep them in control. Hydra was doing just that. The terrorist in the city are the ones to blame. Hydra was keeping order and control in the city, and did an excellent job at damage control. This battle was lost, but not the war. Hydra can still recover to protect this city."
Chief Murphy: "I'm not so sure. Based on the leaked and classified documents we have in our possession, it sounds like Hydra was more involved than you let on. The experiments going on in District Zero should have been put to an end the moment they saw things going south. Those yellow-eyed monsters seem to be an exact result of Hydra's doing.
Mayor Ronson: "I concur. The Yellow-eyed monsters, what do you call them? Consumers? The infected? They are dangerous and have killed hundreds. They directly attacked the police station, some even tried to come to my office. I barely escaped with my life."
City council member: "Not to mention the botched raid on the Wylde Aces. It is an exact repeat from the last raid! Hydra may be watching over this city, but who is watching over Hydra?!?!"
News reporter 1: "That's a fair point... We will let Mr. Leuan speak after the break. More to come, stay tuned..."
